The Transitioning......(no, not THAT Transition, the Trump one....)

LOL. What's actually funny about this Pax, is that this is EXACTLY what the Democrats were doing, and THAT is what you are afraid of.
Law fare on steroids and now democrats along with establishment bureaucrats crapping their pantaloons for fear the pendulum returns.

Apparently Ish failed to notice the build up of Biden's feces smeared on the lips of Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi. Two prominent and powerful democrats that placed loyalty to Biden and party above all else.

Not at all.

They do not have security clearances for their positions. They will all be receiving their proper classified briefings after January 20.

Security clearances and their briefings under this administration require FBI vetting.

Off the top of my head, Kellog, Patel, Gabbard, Walz, MAYBE Hegseth, and ALL of the serving members of congress nominated. I can probably dig up some more.

If you don't know how security clearances work perhaps you should keep your mouth shut.

Security clearance for their position.

I know how they work. You think they're interchangeable apparently.

Of course there are different levels. All of the names I listed have Top Secret clearances. Patel and Kellog have TS special access clearances. All members of congress, being constitutional offices, are assumed to hold the very highest clearance levels.

For each position, they need to be cleared again even if previously cleared for other positions. What part of that don't you get?

No they don't. A few will need their clearances upgraded that's it.

I held a DOE Q clearance, the same as TS special access. When I moved over to a different program all that was required was an access sign off, not a new clearance or investigation. There are only 4 clearance levels and all come with 'need to know' restrictions. The higher the clearance, the higher the walls on the 'need to know' sign offs. But that's all it is, 'need to know' sign offs and Trump, upon being sworn in, can order that sign off right then and there.

Yes, and the FBI won't give that until the new administration takes office because they will change requirements.

What part of that don't you get?

And the higher your clearance is, the more often you need to renew it

JFC, I'm not saying that won't get it....I'm saying they won't get it on day one...which is when he continues to say he wants it.

The president, any president, can read anyone into any program (secret) they want at anytime they want......period.

Renewal once every nine years and that is just a paperwork deal unless there is profound changes in the individuals status.

The fact that Thune decided to make Mitch McConnell head of the rules committee means he plans on stopping Trump’s agenda in the Senate.

Head of the rules committee is the most powerful position in the Senate. McConnell will not allow recess appointments. He will make it harder to vote on bills he doesn’t like. He will do everything to protect pork filled omnibus bills. And Thune put him there.

BUT President Trump can still force the Senate into recess if the House votes for a recess. It's placing a lot of faith in the House, which is likely not justified as there are plenty of RINO's left in the House.

It might just have to be temporary appointments and swap them around.

Another one just identified himself as a target to primary. I love the way Trump is outing all these traitors

WELL THEN: I should go on a crime spree, rape, steal, vandalize and pillage, then run for local office, spout a bunch of racist and hateful stuff so I can get elected, then once I get elected (Because, America in 2024 likes this stuff), pardon myself, and have the cops and judge arrested for trying to prosecute me for my crimes.

WELCOME TO AMERICA 2024.

Remember: YOU VOTED FOR THIS. There is no law or accountability anymore. The rich and powerful get to do what they please, fuck over whoever they want- and this is now what people like. Okay I get it now.

The reason that J Edgar was around until he died was because he had the dirt on every politician in DC. They all hated him but all sang his praises in public. After J Edgar was gone the politicians thought that by being able to appoint the director and the appointment only lasting a finite period of time that they would at last be free. And to an extent they were. Then along came the Patriot Act.

So, you object to justice for criminals?

Because that's what those people are; criminals. They stripped people of their rights, persecuted them in the name of political ideology, and thought they'd get away with it because the mob supported what they were doing.

And here you are, supporting their criminality instead of seeking the justice the American People deserve.
No, Rebel5soul (Fuck you and your army of alts:)

I SUPPORT justice for criminals- that's the whole fucking point.

Trump broke the law.

Ergo he is a criminal.

Prosecuting criminals who break the law has nothing to do with political idoelogy. It has to do with enforcing the same laws that bind all of us. I realize you know very little about the law, but hopefully you can at least understand this. After all, my niece, who is only six years old, can understand it, so maybe you will someday, too.

Therefore, I support justice for him, which should include Prison, not the oval office.

But in your pathetic, childish, LITTLE MIND, the laws only apply to people who are NOT Donald Trump. The leader should NOT be ABOVE the law.

Sorry bloke, but I have seen Chloe match wits … Correction: I have seen Chloe‘s attempts at debate here and there’s no matching of wits. If Muhammad Ali’s style is to get into the ring and say something that is called out as stupid and then run away claiming that no one here understands a joke then sure - that’s an absolutely spot on description of your assessment of his rope-a-dope strategy.
A word of advice, I have never heard anyone use the word ‘ bloke ‘ in an aggressive statement. Geezer, OY YOU, sunshine, guv as well as mate will fit. If I WAS from Scotland ‘Hey Jimmy’ would also be an insult.

Bloke is used to describe an individual who was incidental to any situation and not worth any further description. Lesson over, make sure you close the door behind you as you leave.
