But yes, I get the distinction with forcing a recess, but for Trump to get his nominations past the McConnells and Murkowski's and Collins, that's what he may have to do. And I don't see this aimed at the Democrats, so much as the traitors in the GOP. A fine distinction, but nevertheless, it's probably going to have to happen. We need people in charge who are going to gut the FBI and Defence and the other agencies and depts that need gutting, and the establishment quislings are not going to go along with that so they will have to be overridden.

I thought they already ruled on how recess appointments could be forced, but I can see it going back to SCOTUS in the end. It IS an important constitutional issue when all is said and done.

Countries are moving to BRICS particularly because of the harsh treatment and sanctions they are getting. Getting more of that treatment would seem to drive more that direction rather than discourage them.

I think people overestimate the US market's influence today. Just imo.

It goes with the end of the American century. We're at that generational cusp where the US can either renew its position as the worlds leading superpower or lose it.
