What Are You Thinking? Continued 14

I will take cold over hot, like @Whiskeyjack. Easier to get warm than stay cool. Did NYC in the summer, and short times in Georgia and Jamaica -- hot and sweaty isn't my joy.

Well, sometimes... Just not walking to the car.
You wouldn't have survived a summer in the south as a kid. @SWR101 can back me up on this. Metal slides, gravel roads, no AC in the older houses...

Who could afford French Riviera?
No one asked for an affordable place... 🤪

Just need to find a temperate middle ground.. say 25C all year round... Surely that must be somewhere in the world?
Paraphrasing Eugene O'Neal.

When it is 110 in New York, it is 78 in LA. And when it is 20 in New York, it is 78 in LA. But there are 8 million interesting people in New York, and 78 in LA.

Oh, totally. Plus at least where I’m at average relative humidity stays around 80%, so the sweat clings to you like extra clothing.
Bullshit. The humidity hits a certain point that your own sweat stops evaporating. It just drips off and slowly steam roasts you in your own juices.

The worst part of summers in the south? Learning to live with swampass and sweat soaked socks. Ew.
