I’m so old I remember…

78s are cool.

I wish my turntable would play em. But they are heavy as hell. Can’t get the speed right.
I’ve been saving all my grandmothers 78’s. I’d still have the victrola she used to play them on but my grandfather gave away the motor. It turns out the 78rpm is a perfect speed for winding up a bait line.
Now what am I preserving these for? I was singing Blue Moon over the holiday when were were remembering she would be just about to have her 125th birthday.

When I was a really little kid, like three or four, my parents put me in an aircraft all by myself to visit some relatives in Florida.

I remember that the flight attendants made a big fuss over me and we’re super kind and took me up to the cockpit.

I also have a very vivid memory that it was on national Airlines, now defunct.

Playing Decathlon on my Commodore 64 using a Competition Pro 5000 joystick. And by playing I mean jerking that joystick because that was what it looked like
