Why did you pick your user name? What does it mean?

To a non english speaker, that username has pornographic connotations.
I was surprised to find out that it meant 'sandwich'.

So, I remembered the password

Luke just asked me last night if I had heard from you - I reminded him I am a shitty friend and that you likely had been murdered.

Next time I'll just go with lost phone, forgotten password, hot date. Murder seems a bit extreme.

it is mostly misread

to hold fast to

i thought about whatwhy then.

Am I crazy or does this make no sense whatsoever?

I remember my first post ever with my previous account I wrote a 'Hello', and your post sounded like someone from outer space, another universe for sure.

Let's see, I had a different name when I signed up for the site a long time ago, but had to change it due to having quite the stalker problem. However, I chose my username that I have now after it was assigned to me on pottermore. I just really liked the name and a part of me likes being a ghost. It fits. Sometimes I'm here, sometimes I'm not.

oggbashan wanted a female user name for writing stories from a woman's point of view.

Jeanne D'Artois was a medieval noblewoman and dangerous witch. She was facing public execution for multiple murders, witchcraft, Satanism and other crimes when she disappeared from a locked and guarded cell during the night before the planned execution.

She was obviously a competent witch - ideal for a Literotica author.

I'm a character in one of jeanne_d_artois' stories - Unatit.

So I'm a fictional character created by an alt of oggbashan who himself is a nom-de-plume for a real person.

I'm actually more real than jeanne or oggbashan because my character was based on a now-deceased local woman who used to pester anyone for ciggies...

Dolllie

I'm still the fantasy of my perverted husband so share the silly user name. I didn't pick it.
Somewhere he explained it. He calls it living. I call it making me look like an old woman slut.

In other words, you're both Oggbashan!

My user name comes from what I called one girlfriend. She was a real tiger in bed who loved to claw my back, thus Tigersman.

Seriously?

Thread title: why did you choose your username.
my reply: i chose it coz my fantasy well, as in:
Well-of-Initiation-001.jpg

seems to never dry up.

Odd you didn't understand it.

Looks pretty dry to me.. Hope you don't plan to live on this fantasy.

The meaning, origin and history for the user-submitted name Fala. ... Given Name FALA. GENDER: Feminine ... in Choctaw. From the Choctaw fala 'a crow'.

Claudia is a nickname from a relative who was hard of hearing. That's what she always thought my name was and it stuck. Redeemer has the same three letters of my actual last name and is also one of my favorite songs from the movie "Queen of the Damned". Kind of weird, but it makes sense to me.
