What woke you up today, and when?

Our little black cat named "Poppy" reinforced by our other, chunky black cat, named "Bean" carried out their morning routine while our long lanky tabby cat named "Squirrel" supervised to ensure I got up around 4:30-5:00 AM to serve them breakfast.

Dogs barking around 2 am. I now know it was a bear in the neighbor's yard.

Alarm clock, just slightly after five.

my 6th alarm, 6:50am. I have like 15 of them, just in case I tell it to stop or shut up the prior 14.

The 7 a.m. alarm on my phone. I rarely ever have a need for alarms anymore, but when I do, I still do the very same thing I did back when I still worked. As soon as my eyes snapped open, I yelled, "Fuck!" then turned it off, irritated that I was awake against my will. Just like when I worked.
