The hunter. She was right up the top of a very very old tree. Ethereal claws of her kitsune form were what held her up that tree. Below, far below and to the north she could see a lone werewolf watching something. Unable to see what exactly she assumed it might be possible prey, or a bird, or who knew what those dumbass wolves ..... watched. Whatever it was it wasn't worth her time. But the bounty on those seven would do nicely.

As for why there was a bounty? She hadn't actually asked. She didn't technically give a fuck what their crimes had been. But that they had a bounty she could collect. Slowly like falling rain, she trickled down that tree in slow incremental moves. Flowing through it, with its natural sway and motions of the wind. So by the time she made it down some ten minutes later. Her natural scent had been covered in pine.

Out of the tree, she drew her sword now, while cutting through the woods like a thief here to steal. She made up for the slowness of her other journey down the tree and then like mist, she was slicing with a blade through the first werewolf, listening to his dying wheeze of air. Knowing the fresh carnage left in her wake as her crimson outfit of vested shirt and trousers with boots of blood red, carry her silently forth. The second was running at her as she pulled a dagger and threw it, listening to the metal sing end over end and the satisfying THUD as it smashed through his skull into the brain.

Now free she pulled her repeating crossbow. Sure it only held three rounds, but each bolt was glass-tipped and filled with silver filings. As she shot each upwards to the ceiling as the last five werewolves entered that central room it was filled with those filings. They hit the eyes, small enough to breathe in. Werewolves began slowing and convulsing as the silver misted through the fur, through the eyes, the ears, and the airway all the way into each set of lungs.

As each one began succumbing to that hemerage of damage caused she danced her way past and swung with deadly accuracy. Heads rolled freely in her wake until she finally seemed to stop head bowed, and coated in blood. It matched fairly evenly toned with her outfit. She took a moment to retrieve the heads of all seven. She uses her sword three times to take the first three.

Then a whisper of a spell. Pass without trace. As she felt the magic bloom through her and sink in, she looked at the dagger she'd removed from the head of the second werewolf to die. Throwing it lightly so it is embedded into the body. A calling card. White Rose in ruby on the pommel. Then she left there and began tracking away from whence she'd come. The nearest city with a bounty collection office was Westlake and that was her destination. Two days travel. She'd travelled for longer...
