Yo kiddies... ShyGuy wrote me with an insane idea, so I thought I'd run it by you fine people and see if it sounded interesting to you. He asked if it were possible to add pics to your profiles here on the BB. It's not possible that we know of, but I though hey, how fun would it be for users of chat, bb, and other parts of the site to have their own profile page on Literotica itself? It would include a pic, your name & email, your ICQ#, your sex (male or female, generally), where you're from, a brief paragraph about yourself, and links to any poems/stories/pics you've submitted. We'd then compile them in an alphabetical listing on the site, much like the Indexed by Author area. For the current authors that already have an author page, they could add all this info to their author page, and that would be what was linked to their stories. Make sense? Thought not... Anyhow, I'm excited about it, but I may be running in circles so I'd love to hear what you all have to say...

It's definitely doable... If you're interested, then send me the following:

Your Name (not your REAL one, your BB one)
A photo of yourself (optional)
Your Email
Your ICQ# (if you have one)
Your Sex (male or female only, please)
Your Age (optional

)
Your Location
A brief paragraph about yourself
If you're an author, the author name you go by (if it's the same as your BB name, let me know that - this is so I can add your info to your author page & link it to the profiles section)

Send this to me, and I will put you up on our site. I won't start the section till I get some submissions, so send the info in, kids!

When what has become the bid 20c for Ravenloft thread was still filling up with profiles, i suggested: be nice to have the facility to say more about ourselves on the "more about" section. Photos - yeah that'd be cool, but some of us will have the slut brother's problem.

Hey, hey - perhaps I should clarify... everything I mentioned is optional - you don't HAVE to send a pic, or your ICQ #, or anything... It's just a lil directory on the site where you can tell a little more about yourself than the BB profile allows, so that new users or not-so-new users who are curious about you can check you out. So, don't freak out kids! Just send the info in so I can get this pahty stahted...

BTW, ShyGuy has already sent his info AND pic in, so I'll be setting up the area tonight. C'mon people, start sending your info in, pic or no pic!

Ah... As you all know, we're currently working on revamping the entire site, inside and out. One of the things we're planning in the revamp is a way to make it so that you have a central profile and password which you'll use to post on the BB, access the chat, and submit stories. Instead of having an Authors section and a Member Profiles section, everyone involved in Literotica - chat people, BB people, authors, readers who vote - will have an identity page.

That's the idea, anyway. We've got all sorts of plans, including updated voting stats available to all, a REAL search, etc. We're trying to include all the features you've requested to make Literotica the best free site ever! hehehe
