Panicky Fox & Friends hosts beg Trump to walk back invitation for foreign meddling in 2020 election

President Donald Trump stated that he would be willing to accept foreign assistance to his re-election campaign, and “Fox & Friends” hosts explained how he could walk back those remarks — possibly on an appearance on his favorite show.

The president told ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos that he didn’t consider foreign assistance to be wrong, after insisting for two years that he didn’t accept Russian aid in 2016, and Fox News host Brian Kilmeade mapped out to his most famous viewer what was wrong about those remarks.

Trump doubles down on taking foreign info: I’d only give it to the FBI if it was ‘incorrect or badly stated’

In a rambling interview with the hosts of Fox & Friends, President Donald Trump doubled down on accepting dirt on political opponents by saying he still would accept it despite almost universal condemnation.

Given every opportunity to walk back the statements he made on ABC, Trump protested that, of course, he would look at it — saying he would have no prior knowledge beforehand whether it contained critical information.

Pressed even further by the Fox News hosts if he would turn over the info to the FBI, the president conceded he would do both — accept it and give it to the FBI — but with the caveat that he would only turn it over to the FBI if it was “incorrect or badly stated,” which seemed to derail the line of questioning.

ABC board rules against Trump — he may lose his liquor license for Trump DC Hotel

The House of Representatives may be refusing to initiate impeachment proceedings to determine if President Donald Trump is fit to be president, but he will soon face proceedings to see if his character is adequate for owning a bar.

At issue is the liquor license for Trump’s infamous Washington, DC hotel.

The renewal of the license was challenged over whether Trump was fit to be owner. The Trump Organization sought to have the complaint dismissed, but the District of Columbia Alcoholic Beverage Control board denied the request.

The board allowed the group contesting the license to protest on the grounds of character, as the law requires the owner to be “of good character and generally fit for the responsibilities of the licensure.”

The former White House Counsel is currently locked in a battle over his testimony with the House Judiciary Committee, and Donald Trump just pantsed him but good. Because McGahn already defied a congressional subpoena, fobbing off Chairman Jerry Nadler just a few hours before his scheduled testimony with a vaguely worded letter alluding to "Executive Branch equities." Note that McGahn's very good lawyer Bill Burck did not assert "executive privilege" (although he did quote the White House claiming it) since privilege has an actual, legal standard, and he will likely lose if and when he tries to assert it in court. Particularly in light of the fact that we've all read what he said already, assholes.

Don McGahn hallucinated that Trump called him up and ordered him to fire Mueller on multiple occasions after eleventy hundred hours of listening to the old man rant about Robert Mueller's non-existent conflicts? Did Corey Lewandowski also hallucinate being told to fire Jeff Sessions if he wouldn't unrecuse himself and put an end to the Russia investigation? And James Comey hallucinated being told to "go easy" on Michael Flynn? In fact, there must have been a group hallucination about the original letter that Kushner, Trump, and Stephen Miller cooked up explicitly firing Comey because of Russia, after which Don McGahn flipped his shit and got Rod Rosenstein to draft that idiotic memo firing Comey because he was mean to Hillary Clinton. DEEP STATE probably put psilocybin in the White House water supply!

Why the state park named after Trump is almost as pitiful as his presidency

In the late 1990s and early 2000s, Donald Trump purchased 436 acres of land in Upstate New York in the hope of using it to add two golf courses to his real estate portfolio. But the golf courses never came about, and according to a report by Bloomberg News’ Lynnley Browning, Donald J. Trump State Park — which is about an hour north of New York City — lies in a state of dilapidation.

The 436 acres are in two different counties: the French Hill part of Donald J. Trump State Park is in Putnam County, while the French Hill part is in Westchester County. Trump’s plans for two 18-hole championship golf courses fell through, Browning Reports, when local authorities determined that the courses would not only drain the water supply in that area, but also, affect New York City’s water supply downstream.

DeCotis told Bloomberg News that the land’s official fair market value of $5.5 million “might be in the ballpark.”

But Fred Koelsch of Camarda Realty Investments told Bloomberg that if Trump enjoyed a $26.1 million tax deduction for his donation, “that’s an awfully large number.”
