Short Story -- Abrupt Ending -- Help!

I've written (yet another) short story that I am told has an abrupt ending. I've been plagued by those since forever.

The story is short -- 2.5k words. It's more than a bit all over the place, mixing plenty of kinks that some may find hard. It's bisex, 3sum, mentions of incest, hum/deg, sph, etc.

If somebody could advise, please?

If you're packing in that many fetishes all in the same very short story, it may be that you're skimping on both the foreplay and the "aftercare", the denouement. Especially with incest, humiliation and sph, I find myself liking to wallow in the scene as a reader for a while. It's hard to tell without the story in front of me, though, to give any more specific advice.

What do you think you're having problems with, specifically?

Without knowing anything else about your story, I agree with @Demiurging
I think you are stuffing too many kinks into too small a space.

The story was meant to end at the first scene break, i.e. the first occurrence of `***'. My editor complained the ending is abrupt. I've added a scene extension. Still, the same complaint.
