of rain,
and wind,
nor storm,
can throw a maidens
castle
from her form.
for she is beauty
at rest
and beauty
at beast,
she is the bluerain
that forms in the east,
and the winds blow
to an echoe,
that leave imprints
of smiles,
running all the while,
through my mind.

"Only now it had become indispensable to him to have her face pressed close to him; he could never let her go again. He could never let her head go away from the close clutch of his arm. He wanted to remain like that for ever, with his heart hurting him in a pain that was also life to him."
D.H. Lawrence quotes

I want relations which are not purely personal, based on purely personal qualities; but relations based upon some unanimous accord in truth or belief, and a harmony of purpose, rather than of personality. I am weary of personality. Let us be easy and impersonal, not forever fingering over our own souls, and the souls of our acquaintances, but trying to create a new life, a new common life, a new complete tree of life from the roots that are within us."

am disappointed...you can do better..ouy...times are frequent...sit on the fence ....watch the mouse .

Gripping rails
she moves,
either by hurdle

skillfull hands
upon me.

Rambunctious spirit
lunging, laughing,
slinking, kinky offer
splayed across me.

Assessed by others
as divisive
boundary foe,
too few leap
as you chance to
daring breach
of nonexistent barrier.

Solitary stand
craving moments
intimate, sharing
surreptitious thrill.
Arousing smile, offered
for acceptance,
legs clenching fast
to hold the fence.

This is so true

It could have been you Du, or Blue, or me saying these things. This is true love... that which is not contained in a box or hoarded in a garage out of fear...

for such a warm welcome , that melts my heart,
and steals my smiles.... ;)

IF love could speak in a sunrise..

he left me warm,
with the mornings light,
sun peeking
through the laughter
of tiny dewdrops,
tickling my skin.
not one place
on my flesh,
did he leave
un-kissed.
nor, one scrape
across my soul.

 ....... i'll take my peaches, with blush, please. ;)

surreptitious thrill ...luv that line...

In my excitement to have my fence ridden, I forgot to say welcome and offer a proper greeting.

;)...you've already found some great people here and there are plenty more lurking about.

Soundless harmonies
sung in unison
by voices joined
in an unknown
common chord.

Exhiliration transferred
from soul to sky
by simple ease,
enjoy serenity
in transcendental
singing.

*Etheric threads of internal rhythm
with more depth, more breadth, more
width and form becoming aware of itself
inside the me, inside the you, inside ourselves
entwined
hearts that cease to breath
yet , nothing still breaths
and minds still feel
and the core of our spirits
still sing symphonies born
from beyond the earth and sky

With all of this love going on

We should have a party! This is an awesome thread... Lots of fun for everyone!

fences?

And whose fence are you hoping to ride? smiles... I may just be holding the bridle on that filly! Of course, nothing is impossible in the grand scheme of things! I love this write Rumi!

No offense intended and I didn't mean to tread on any toes...:)..but I'd hope you already know that and never read a malicious intent from my words.

She challenged my flimsy excuse to avoid a sensual metaphoric contribution. It was either the fence or a mouse.

I would never

take it personally! I'm rather enjoying the banter... My mind is FAR too open to stress over anything that could be fun. kind of like Alfred E Neumann..."What me, Worry"

That was always my impression of you as to life in general.

The ambiguity of textized verbage gives me peripheraled hindsight on occasion.

In the words of Cosmo Kramer.........giddy'ap!...
