Hey WSO-- did you pick an option? Will we all post them on the same day huh huh huh?

(okay I am just excited because it is the first challenge I have actually finished in a long long time)

I think that it is a good idea to have them all up on New Poems the same day-- and to encourage everyone who participates to leave at least a short comment on the other challenge poems. Take a gander at all of the comments on the Apple Challenge poems!

Dressed in scarlet,
hues of decadent orange
and yellow.
Tease me
with cool breath upon my skin
as you kiss my cheek.

Melancholy moment
as we dance
in sunlight warmth
sliding into cool dusk
as satin slides dark
and diamonds sparkle luminescent.

Iridescent Moon
Sprinkles light upon the grass
as we breathe out fog,
inhale scents of descending age.
Grasping warm close
to hold the sleep-to-be at bay.

A changeling child? perhaps, but
then again am I not of your seed?
Did I not meet expectations
being another girl?
Was I hard to birth, did I stretch
you beyond endurance?
The family already full before
I appeared, a late addition,
and the hand falls again.
