I really enjoy reading porno comics.

I have a friend who is a graphic artist/illustrator and I can write silly dirty scripts, but my question is this:

How would you begin to break into the porno comic publishing market?

Has anyone here tried?

Is it off-puttingly difficult to get started?

Thanks,

Rachael

Good for you for wanting to make it in the publishing space.

You could publish on lit and post a patreon account.

I co-wrote a new adult incest comic and nearing completion. But its more story driven than porn. My partner and I are self publishing on a taboo website and we'll see how it goes.

The hardest thing so far is having the extra funds to pay an artist.

Not publishing on Lit also?

It’s easier to publish online these days than to have to pay for actual printing, unless I’ve misunderstood.

I love porn comics. Hope you can get this launched. My interest started when reading hustler and penthouse(well yes i read the articles too 😈). Those comics were always so hot!

Thank you for the suggestion Vitriol,
He (the artist) and I both suffer from being old relics and learning how to promote the thing ourselves for Patreon payments would be a pain, I think.

It's as easy as opening a Paypal account or starting a Facebook profile.

The harder part would be promoting the Patreon project in order to attract paying patrons at all.

Exactly. The schmooze, the sell, the self-promotion, the effort... he can draw and I can write (a bit) but neither of us has any energy for become experts in digital marketing.

I think for a lot of people, the path to success starts with self-publishing online and building a fanbase on your own.

A lot of publishers, including the small, honest ones, don't have as much time/money as they used to for nurturing new talent, so they tend to go for people who've already built a reputation for themselves.

There's a company called Iron Circus Comics that deals in spicier content. They're a progressive, forward-thinking company that uses crowdfunding to get new artists published. But you still probably need to build some visibility for yourself to get their attention.

I want to share my experience in the world of online entertainment, and to be honest, I just can't avoid bongacams.com. Why? Because there is literally a boundless choice of genres! This resource became a real discovery for me, and, to be honest, surprised me with its diversity. No matter what your preferences are, they are reflected here. From classics to experimental genres, from standard scenarios to creative fantasy - everyone can find something to their liking. Yes, of course, the question of taste is always subjective, but that's the thrill, isn't it? My partner and I have become true explorers in this vast world, switching from genre to genre and enjoying new experiences. So, if someone is looking for a place with a diverse selection and an open community, BongaCams is a great option! Share your preferences, maybe you'll discover something exciting too.
