Peter Bogdanovich Has Died

As the title says, the great film director Peter Bogdanovich has died.

I know that many of you are thinking, "Okay LaHomdog. "That's sad, but he wasn't a writer, this belongs on another thead." And yet he was. He wrote the screenplays for the legendary "The Last Picture Show" also "What's Up Doc," "They All Laughed," and others.

He of course was a famed director also notorious for being Dorothy Stratten's boyfriend when she was murdered.

RIP and thank you for the movies especially my favorite, the documentary "Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers: Runnin' Down a Dream."

Great director but a flawed man. After Dorothy Stratton was murdered he took up with Dorothy's barely legal sister to the irritation and dismay of her parents.
