Dear Italian Literoticans,

I'm writing a story, and in a small part in one section some Italian women are overheard arguing about the direction. I don't need anything fancy, just a few phrases, but it would be great to get some help if possible. Here is what I want them to say:

"It is this direction (way), I am sure."

"Fine, if you say so."

According to Google Translate, this would in Italian be:

"È questa direzione, sono sicuro."

"Bene, se lo dici tu."

...but I don't dare trusting that without confirmation from an Italian. Does it sound OK?

"It is this direction (way), I am sure."

"È da questa parte, ne sono sicuro" if it's a male speaking
"È da questa parte, ne sono sicura" if it's a female speaking

or

"La direzione è questa, ne sono sicuro(a)"

First one is nearer to "way", second one is nearer to "direction"

"Fine, if you say so."

"Va bene, se lo dici tu."

Thank you very much!
