Nope. It was actually a term coined by Yoopers to describe the rest of us. We don't take offense. +

It's not a hateful term--or at least, I've never understood it to be.

It comes from all those fairy tales where there's a troll living under the bridge.
And we in the Mitten live "under (below) The Bridge (the Mighty Mac)."

As I said, I actually think it's kind of clever.

The window unit blocks the window so we run it as a fan when it cools off but we can't open the window

Trip was good. I always laugh over how fast the traffic gets as soon as you hit michigan.
