President-elect Donald Trump plans to dissolve his foundation, his transition team announced on in statement on Saturday.

Soon after, though, the New York attorney general's spokesperson tweeted that he legally can't, until the state's investigation of the Trump Foundation is complete.

If Tromp's charity manipulations are judged criminal, need he be impeached and removed, or can he rule from jail? Trump in trouble over 'Second Amendment' remark

The campaign says he was referencing gun-rights voter mobilization, but the remark was widely interpreted as a joke about using guns against his Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton

Reuters reported that a government official said the Secret Service did not "formally" speak to the Trump campaign. Whatever the nature of the alleged "talks," the Secret Service made it clear they took note of Trump's comment

Promises, promises.

Today was promised as a day of a press conference concerning Trump ethics policy.
Answers were promised. Explanations were promised. Policy was promised. We were to hear from Trump's very own mouth, what his intentions were. We were to hear about actions taken, actions planned. A detailed explanation and declaration.

There were explanations and observations given, before Wednesday.

Lucky for Trump, some mysterious trusted source (rumored to have operated in the UK ) has passed along a dossier. A former counter intelligence operative, now a private consultant.

Like a narrow in a quiver, this dossier is made public, just as Trump needed a foil and a distraction.

Dan Rather would have advised caution in approaching information that does not have a pinpointed source that can be confirmed.
Dan Rather had trusted in the legitimacy of the material he received. The information seemed legitimate.
Rather’s career was derailed, because of a piece of information.

It took a long while, but Dan Rather's instincts were confirmed.
George W. Bush was allowed to play tricks and shirk.
The paper trail led to many interesting places.
Unfortunately, Dan Rather's piece of paper got him into trouble.

Such a coincidence, that there are hearings on all of Trump's picks.

Not Trump's fault, that an over the top, sex based accusation was made against him!

Not Trump's fault, that the timing works so well for him, and worked out so badly for Hilary Clinton...

The Ukraine has banned Mikhail Gorbachev, the last leader of the Soviet Union, after he came out in support of Russia's annexation of Crimea.

Gorbachev's comments on Crimea are the latest wedge between Ukraine and Russia. The two neighboring nations have been in conflict since 2014 when pro-Russian separatists in Ukraine and Russian forces annexed the Crimean Peninsula following a political crisis in Ukraine.

Ukraine's Security Service told CNN the ban was because of Gorbachev's "public support of military annexation of Crimea."
