5 year old granddaughter had a hearing test this week. Her school had thought that there might be a problem with her hearing.

There isn't.

My niece announced today she's getting married.

She's 21 years old.

This is her first boyfriend/first serious relationship.

They've been dating for five months or so. No more than six.

They are getting married December 22 of this year.

Even though I wished her "Congratulations!" today when she told me, in the back of my mind I kept thinking, "Starter marriage. Hopefully she'll be smarter about the next one."
