I'm still struggling to get my head around it.
Some of the ideas that both American Dem. or Rep. politicians tout sound either odd or extreme to me.
But then I go on youtube and find these gems of lectures or interviews given by American or British intellectuals. Both brilliant and full of common sense, best out there.
Strangely enough, the best moderate alternative political analists sites are either British-so called Liberal, or American-so called Conservative.
I think that certain think tanks might be funded differently in the US and the UK.
