It's like I said to the Chaplin in the ER Just before I was rushed to the Cath Lab when he asked if I had any religious needs seeing that I was having a Heart attack.
I thanked him and assured him I had already said a little prayer and that my spiritual bags had been packed for a long time now and that I was ready to go home whenever I was called.
It came out so natural and cheerful that I'm not sure whom it impressed the most...me or him. But he left out the door knowing he could be of far greater service somewhere else.
My answer to people when they asked me if I was worried about dying was and still is...Why No.
Why should I be?
