Males don't generally deal with what women deal with on Lit.

I think THAT is the main point. The male experience is likely quite different from what women probably experiences.

Just guessing. I am male.

I am sure there’s a lot more horseshit that women have to deal w than men.

I tend to hold on any personal info that I deem too sensitive until I really know someone, but with everything else just be yourself, upfront and honest. Some people will like it and others won't.

I guess you just be real as you are in rl. Though some people are never real anywhere.
Being real can be messy but it’s the best way.
You don’t have to disclose your private details or activities but lying is never good. People see through lies, they may choose to not mention it but eventually lies are exposed.
Lies also hurt relationships.

I think it's best to be up front, maybe approach anything you feel insecure about in the early stages. Most of the time I think you'll find the other person isn't as concerned with it as much as yourself.
Just be honest with the things you're comfortable with sharing and let go of the rest when you are.
