SCOTUS explored all of that in Heller and determined what the intent of the framers was based on those historical documents. The 2A is not tied to milita service. It never was. Anyone who's taken an elementary school history class KNOWS that ordinary people publicly carried arms in their daily lives for the first 150 years of this Nation's history.

First you said anyone can get and use software to get anyones IP and now you're saying the cops can with a lot of work.
Neither is true. There is no "drilling through" a VPN. Your ISP is meaningless. If it was so easy nobody would be able to do anything online. But it's the opposite. It's very easy to stay anonymous and nobody gets an IP from a forum like this unless they're a mod or can hack an acct and even then if the person is using a VPN that's the only IP they got.
