Haiku

dewdrops from the sky,
that seem to me like stars,
fall to wash your cheeks

Beneath dead leaves tinged
by the shadow of an owl,
a mouse eats a nut.
Not a criticism, but it's funny how some people will pronounce 'owl' with two syllables. I have a bit of a drawl, myself, so it comes out sounding like 'ow-el' or 'ow-uhl' or something. Anyway...

On a scraggly branch
shivering from soft lynx paws
An owl eats a mouse
