A reviewer isn't obligated to sing flowery praises nor are they bound by contract to give maximum effort for your story.
You get what you pay for. It's up to you (the author) to recognise what criticism is valid and what's not. It's important to remember that review is just another opinion on your work. You can use it to improve yourself or simply ignore it.
Most reviewers are tainted by their tastes and personal style. You should read their past reviews to determine whether that style is to your liking or not. Don't jump into the feedback queue just because it's free.
Review and Feedback threads are one of the best things about this forum. I won't censor Review threads unless they specifically break forum rules.
As always, report any offending post if it breaks forum rules and it'll be taken care of.
Edited: Repeat offenders who harass review threads with useless snarky comments will be rewarded with temporary reply bans. Hard-working trolls will be upgraded to permanent reply bans.
