Elizabeth Warren proves her ancestry; embarrasses shit out of Trump & Trumpsters

NBC’s Jon Allen: Elizabeth Warren’s DNA Test Shows She Committed “Some Level Of Fraud”

Even the far-left MSM can’t deny it.

I'm still trying to figure out what kind of boob would start a thread announcing Trump should be embarrassed about Warren's DNA test that shows she's not Native American.

The kind of boob who gets hundreds of shitposts out of you deplorables in said thread, by simply telling the truth.

And the truth is Warren isn't an Indian or half-Indian or quarter- or thirty-second. The truth is Warren's mom (or her grandmother, who can keep all these lies straight?) didn't have to elope because she was an Indian and, you know, racism.
So maybe you're the one simply telling the truth, Rory. LOL. LOL. First time for everything.
But a whole lot of Warren supporters who took a big bite into those first breathless we're-going-to-show-Trump reports on the DNA test ended up feeling like it was a shit sandwich. And I've got a feeling you were one of them.
LOL.

BTW, there's a brown sliver of something caught in your teeth there.

She has Indian DNA and you all should just STFU about it all.

Someone sounds butthurt.

And like you took a bite of the old shit sandwich.
Warren doesn't conclusively have American Indian blood. She has a teensy bit of Central/South American blood that may somehow be Native American, though I'm not sure how that would work. Maybe the milkman 250 years ago was Mayan or something. Yeah, that's it.

Elizabeth Warren’s DNA test fact check: What journalists got wrong about senator's Native American ancestry

After being egged on by President Trump, Senator Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass, released the results of a DNA test 15 October that indicated she had a Native American ancestor.

The results - which identified Native American DNA from six to 10 generations ago - were immediately misinterpreted.

The Republican National Committee then issued a news release directing reporters to a 2014 New York Times report that said "European-Americans had genomes that were on average 98.6 per cent European, 0.19 per cent African and 0.18 Native American." So it sounded like Ms Warren had less Native American DNA than the average European American.

Ms Warren's DNA was sequenced and analysed by a group led by Carlos Bustamante, a well-regarded Stanford University geneticist. Researchers studied a fraction - far less than 1/1,000th - of Ms Warren's DNA, and then compared it to the DNA of 148 people from Finland, Italy, Spain, China, Nigeria and North and South America. Additional comparison was done on 185 individuals from Utah and Great Britain.

As one might expect, the vast majority - 95 per cent - of Ms Warren's DNA indicated European ancestors. But five genetic segments were identified, with 99 per cent confidence, as being associated with Native American ancestry. The largest segment identified was on Chromosome 10.

"While the vast majority of the individual's ancestry is European, the results strongly support the existence of an unadmixed Native American ancestor in the individual's pedigree, likely in the range of 6-10 generations ago," the report said.

no tribe for Ms Warren could be identified, only that she had an ancestor or ancestors descended from indigenous people.)

This is a country where any white's nonwhite racial identity has always been defined by the one-drop rule, you know.

They've been losing this argument on every single page, you know. They're the ones who need the butt-salve.

i think it was just to make him welch on his bet.

because of course he was always going to welch on the bet. he's just that kind of a guy.

She proved she was not North American Indian. She has been trading on this tiny amount “Indian ancestry” all her life- well she did well with it, even if it was fraudulent.

That’s the to get way ahead in America today- I guess you think that’s the kind of America you want. I sure don’t.

From your linked article...

(Note: Mr Bustamante did not have access to Native American DNA because of mistrust in the community that DNA results could affect tribal identity, so he relied on samples of indigenous people from Mexico, Peru and Colombia.

Way to cut out most of the whole quote.

(Note: Mr Bustamante did not have access to Native American DNA because of mistrust in the community that DNA results could affect tribal identity, so he relied on samples of indigenous people from Mexico, Peru and Colombia - populations in the Americas with high Native American genetic ancestry. There is research showing that using these groups as references is accurate when differentiating between genetic ancestries at a worldwide level. But no tribe for Ms Warren could be identified, only that she had an ancestor or ancestors descended from indigenous people.)

Apparently you're relying on the "there is research showing...accurate" part while dismissing the rest of the quote that says that the researcher relied on DNA samples of people who are not Native American.

Let's see... Hmmm...

Rely on NON-Native American DNA as a basis to see if there's a Native American connection. Add to that the "research shows that if you rely on NON-Native American DNA you can get positive Native American ancestry results" theory, and VOILA! Warren is Native American.

#6.

15 fallacies

Any researcher worth his salt knows better.

I'm sure that he knows more about this than either of us.. Certainly more than you..

Nitpicking the results is stupid. I'd expect nothing more from you.
