Yes, they're high. It's been a really rough year, made rougher by some things that have happened here. Seems I can't even count on friends.

I understand the need for that, sometimes.But life is short, and you can't always be so defensive. Its, it's own prison in a way, and that can be worse....

I can completely relate. That's what I want when I come here, to experience connection. I had/have always wanted to make friends on here and talk about sex. This one person I knew, that I was emotionally attached to, chatted with me on messenger, whom I had met here on the forums. One day he just stopped replying to my IMs, and months later, I was deleted off the buddy list. I don't know what I did to offend him, I don't know why he started ignoring me, because I saw that he still came on Lit, based on his online activity status. I am over that particular situation, but similar scenarios like that have played on repeat over and over.
