Constant logging out

Much of the time that I’m logged in the site is logging me out when I click to the next page or another screen. It took me several minutes to reply to a PM because each time I clicked to send I was redirected to the login screen. It’s also happening when I click to open a different thread, anything that is opening a new page/screen. Is this possibly a known issue? I suppose it could be on my device, but it’s a new issue just over the past couple days

Same here. And wow, was it annoying when I lost the text of an entire PM because I was unknowingly logged out while typing.

I've had a similar issue. I thought it may be because my browser is in Private mode, but it didn't do this before, so perhaps something got changed somewhere.

This issue persists. It just took me at least 7 attempts to post in a thread as I was logged out each time. I was copying and pasting the message, so it took a second to compose the message.

Nothing for nothing, but I just have to say it out loud. Your avatar is quite interesting , very pretty at a glance and authoritative. Thank you for all your mod work and answering the newbie questions in such a timely manner.

I always and I mean always copy and paste anything that is more then two sentences long after I first log in. Pm or open forum posts .That solved my problem when I was a newbie.

I get randomly logged out unless I have a second window logged into my story/submissions page. As long as I keep my 'works' page open, I can open and close forum pages without having to log in over and over.

Before I figured this out I had to copy my forum messages before trying to post them so I could log back in and paste them.

Similar to what AlexBailey says, based on something I read in some random post, I now login via the main Literotica site, and then choose "Bulletin Board" or "Forums" from there. This has been keeping me logged into the forums indefinitely as far as I can tell. YYMV. Good luck!

The problem is related to http:// and https://

The login cookies don't work properly with http:// , but the emails you get as forum notification use the http:// form. So once you click one of those links to access Literotica, you are no longer logged in and you won't stay logged in until you switch to https://.

The fact that the browser does like to autocomplete the URL does not make it easier, because when you used https:// before and then click one of those email links, the browser might autocomplete the wrong form from then on.
