Con artist family does busines on taxpayer dime

This has been mentioned before, but I am certain those who whined and gnashed their teeth that Obama was going on vacation on the taxpayer dime (but nowhere near as much as the con artist so far has done), will shrug their shoulders and say it's no big deal as they pay for the familial minions of the con artist jet around the world for work on their multi-million dollar family business.

With Eric Trump’s trip to the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland this week, the international hotel and car rental costs for the Secret Service agents who protect him and his brother Donald Trump Jr. have topped $190,000 since January 1st, according to a review of purchasing orders by CBS News.

These purchase orders do not include airfare costs for Secret Service agents who traditionally conduct advance trips to the location in preparation for visits by protectees. It also does not include the cost of the salaries paid to the agents who protect members of the president’s family.

When the outrage over this prolific and unwarranted spending comes about, let us know, because apparently hypocrisy is the name of the game.

The new plaintiffs will be added to the case on Tuesday morning, according to a spokesman for Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), a D.C.-based watchdog group.

This is a significant development that does much to alleviate the “standing” problem, the legal requirement that the plaintiff suffered actual harm. (“Both [new plaintiffs] say that, as direct competitors of Trump’s restaurants and hotels, they may lose foreign clients, who may book with Trump properties to curry favor with the president.”)

Apparently, if this goes to court, the judge will likely demand Trump's tax returns.
