Our avs speak to Keroin. Of course she has a relationship with a penguin named Chuck so I guess no one finds this odd.

Post in here if you want to know what your av says.

So does CM!

Yes. I've been voicing Litizens in my head for years now. :)

And just as an FYI sort of thing, the current Av is Katheryn Grayson... as close as it gets to "me" without being "me". (Although I think she's much prettier.)

The most common comment I get re: my voice is that I don't have an accent (I'm from Texas, but other than the occasional "y'all" you'd never know it), and that I have a really nice phone voice.

And her comment on mine. :D

Your AV voice is very soft and melancholy, wistful. Makes me feel a bit sad.

But then I remember those evil chocolate photos.

Hmph!

What I should have said she can tell you what its voice sounds like. I don't think she speaks watermelon.

Ooo what's mine say? Or what's mine sound like anyway?

**Waves hand in the air emphatically**

There she is. I thought she might be on Ootu beach today.

Cheeky monkey! And how dare you start a thread for me without my permission, using my name in vain and all!!!

Yeah, yeah, the funny quotient of that is near nil now.

No O'otu beach today, a big storm is rolling over Wannahockalugee Island. Today is for writing and DVD's. So, I will devote a few minutes to divining avatars. Oh dear, the voices are so quiet this morning...I...can't...no, they refuse to speak. Perhaps if you slide some Lindt chocolate bars across the table? Ah, much better.

And, no, I do not speak watermelon, though I am fluent in mango.

Keroin, what is my av saying?

Um, "I'd take a bath instead of a shower, if I were you"?

Kidding, kidding.

But of course I am hearing the voice of the ineffable Mr H. Since I was a horror movie fan as a child, your AV voice makes me feel nostalgic. It's as if a favorite uncle has come to visit and is sharing stories over the dinner table.

I want to know what mine is saying, too please.

Strangely enough, it is not the woman who speaks to me but the man behind her. This voice is deep and predatory. The low growl of a lion, so close you can feel the hot breath of his ragged tongue. Ooooo, scary.

Your av whispers but it's a very specific kind of whisper. In some vampire movies, the female vampires have these ethereal, whispering voices that give you the impression they are more air than flesh. They are at once seductive and terrifying. This is your av voice.

You've already posted your thoughts on my current av, but how about this, that I've also used for an av?

Btw. I did find out who James Spader is!

I wanna know, too!!! :D

Easy! Your av sounds like my Mexican friend, Paco. Yes, that's his real name. He's a wonderful man, humble and friendly. His English is good but his accent is so thick as to almost be a bad imitation of a Mexican accent. I used to bring him the heads from the fish I caught and in return he taught me how to swear like the locals.

I'm down with being Mexican! :D

This is another easy one. On this island, when the local men do their traditional dances, they yell out to one another and slap their chests before they begin. Originally, this would have been to taunt and intimidate their enemies before a battle. Remember, there would be a lot at stake here, as the losers generally were eaten. Anyway, that av sounds like the voice these Polynesian warriors used when they prepared for a fight.

Okay, I'll bite. Not sure what mine will say though besides being a dirty flirt. :p

Sounds like you're describing the New Zealand Maoir Haka :) And the tattoo is actually inspired by those tattoos :)

:D

Ok, I'm here now. What does my av sound like please?

Your av voice sounds like Linda Ronstadt singing Blue Bayou, especially the very beginning part...

"Saving nickels, saving dimes,
Working 'till the sun don't shine,
Looking forward to happier times..."

I've not opened my big (virtual) mouth enough to warrant my having an av :( - however I'd be interested to know what you think of my profile pic. (I'll come back at a later date with the av! lol). I will never look at pictures in the same way again....in a good way I assure you!

And just to throw my two penn'orth in - Penguins are AMAZING!!!! WOOP WOOP :D
