He even let me drive on North without showing any ID, it was a pain getting back into NY without my birth certifacate, the US Customs guy was stuck with just my drivers license and student ID card.

a friend and I were detained at US Customs because they thought we were traveling with a car that was 3 in front of us (who had weed apparently), which we weren't! we were detained for 4 hours and the damned drug-dog broke my cd player in my car and left hair and drool. after they separated, questioned and inspected us, we were questioned together by guys wearing bio-hazard suits and were finally let go. I have a feeling that if we hadn't had piercings and dressed in our 'glam-goth' attire of the early 90's, we'd have gotten thru without a hitch. assholes.
