After the defet of the dark wizard, Draco had a lot on his mind foremost is revenge. while not ploting revenge on poter Draco has been looking for someone to spend his days with making voodo potter dolls. so when he met up with Cho it was unusual that the two began to talk and not fight. one time enemies the two began to spend time alone together. Potter the goody two shoes tried to break them up but that only made her more intrested in Malfo.

need someone to play Cho who starts out only to keep an eye on the former death eater but develops feelings for him.

:)
OOC: What year at Hogwarts are we? Or is this an alternate after graduating kind of thing?

after school....maybe even a few years......malfoy would be 21....forgot when potter entered teh school or what age he was:rolleyes:...but that seems liek a good point

Cho was a year ahead of them in school I believe, so she would be 22 then. I'll work on a post :)

There were days when Cho missed the innocent days of being a student at Hogwarts. The days before The Dark Lord had returned and taken Cedric from her. Thouh it been years since his death, her heart sometimes ached for Diggory. At night when she dreampt, she was sometimes plagued by nightmares - remembering his pale, blank face staring upwards after being called back to the school grounds.

She sat in a tea shop in Diagon Alley, her eyes glancing over the moving photographs within the Daily Prophet. They fell upon an article about Harry and his latest promotion at the Ministry of Magic. She sighed softly.

Her crush on Harry Potter had swelled somewhat the following year, but not enough to forget about Cedric. Their short lived relationship had been a mere letter on a page within a spell book. Things had not ended well and even after all this time, when she bumped into him acidently, she reacted awkwardly to him.

But Draco... Even knowing what Draco had done... The blond wizard intrigued her. SHe never would have thought she'd be interested in a former Death Eater. It didn't make sense. She had been rooting for the good guys. Having feelings, no matter how small they might be at the moment, felt traitorous.

The War is over, she reminded herself silently. But a tiny bt of anger flowed through her as she remembered Harry's reaction to seeing her talking to Draco at the ministry. Harry and Draco's old rivalry wasn't easily forgotten by either of them. Why Harry cared who she saw was beyond her. He was happy with Ginny Weasly. Maybe he was just concerned, but Cho could take care of herself.

Potter after seeing him with cho had driven him from the city, he was reformed to a degree and deserved the rights and privileges of his class. But the hounding of the potter squad had forced him beyond the wizarding world. The mogule realm was cold dark and depressing or at least the small corner he had seen in the last six months. Using some of his families gold he had made a life for himself.

But he could not help thinking of cho, potter had not even thought himself worthy of his scraps that mugle lover. He was furious being chased out of power by the lucky fool who had killed the dark lord and disbanded the death eaters. He had plotted to get revenge but in the end he had surrendered to the fact the cause was lost.

The strangest thing a letter from well not an admirer but someone who wanted to meet to talk with him. Sent by owl and perfumed it could only be a witch was it one of his old flames or a new one. He would have to return to the wizard world perhaps it was a trap to get him.

Meet me at midnight under the hangman’s bridge asked the not no name no reason for the meeting. He secreted away what little magic he had taken with him to the mugle world and prepared to meet the letter writer. The area was dark and in disrepair someone must have had a big fight. He could feel magic all around or traces of it. “ok come out I have a wand and know which end to point at you“ he yelled.

Cho had been waiting for Draco, hoping he would come to see her. She wasn't sure if he would have even showed up. She wouldn't have been angry at him. It was dangerous for him to come back to wizard territory. She hadn't signed her name to the invitation out of fear she might be caught. Sending him an owl was a minor offense, but still something punishable. She wanted to avoid trouble and marks on her record. She had dreams of working her way up the departments in the ministry. She didn't wish to be Minister, but she wanted to make a name for herself. She wanted to do something important within the Wizarding world.

She would have rather met Draco somewhere nicer. A place with comfortable chairs and maybe even a roaring fire in a fireplace. A structure with a roof on top. Not out in the open air, a ruined, forgotten place hidden from watching eyes. Draco would get in trouble because of her were they caught. She wouldn't be able to live with herself if anything happened to him.

"What are thinking, girl?" her mind asked itself. You barely know him. WHy are you risking your future career?

The truth was that she believed he had changed. Maybe he still held a grudge against Harry, but so did she sometimes. Cho doubted, however, that Draco was foolish enough to once again delve into dark magic.

She suddenly heard Malfoy's voice echo in the air about her. She gasped with surprise as the silence was split with the bellowing command. She put a hand on her own wand, just in case he was nervous and would accidentally send a hex her way. Cho moved slowly and carefully so she wouldn't alarm him into attacking.

"Draco, It's me. Don't worry. Lumos." Her voice was soft as she spoke so she didn't startle him. A ball of light began to glow at the tip of her wand, shining on her face so he could see her kind smile.

Potter had ruined him he could have been a teacher at Hogwarts or a minister but now the best he could hope for was some mugle job. He was surprised to see cho they had only met a few times before he ran. She was one of potters group and so off limits, but then why had she called him. He almost ran but his feet stood there ground he was no coward if potter wanted this finished he would oblige. “Funny to se you Lumos I would think you would be swooning over potter still“

His own words felt bitter he wanted to take them back the moment he had said them but no magic, no good magic could do that. At least it was not a prison they had despite his clemency thrown him in for a night. He had been let out but a single lock of hair had been turned white. “its good to see you cho“

Memories of better times when he was at Hogwarts while a mud blood haven it was also were he met his teacher and learned his destiny. He moved closer afraid to use his own wand. He could use magic but only the most simple things a third year student could do more impressive magic.

“I guess potter is not around, so why, I mean why have you graced me with you’re presence“. most students wanted nothing to do with him and most death eaters were in prison or dead. He looked at her was she even more beautiful then when he last saw her. “It is good to see a kind face, a kind beautiful face“.

Draco's bitter words stung and hurt her feelings. For a moment she considered leaving. This was such a bad idea... What right did she have to bring him back? If all she had wanted was to only see his face. His presence made her heart beat a little faster, which was perplexing. She'd been known as well behaved girl, but now here she was getting lightheaded over the 'bad boy.' The youngest Malfoy was pleasant when he wasn't feeling angry. Harry had really ruined things for Draco. She wasn't sure how she felt about that. It wasn't right because Draco hadn't done anything wrong, but she was still friends with Harry and Ginny.

"No, Harry isn't here."

Her well shaped face moved slightly forward so she was glancing down at the ground. Her silky, black hair flowed forward over her shoulders with the movement. When she looked up again, Draco had moved closer to her. It was strange seeing him in Muggle clothing. He didn't look bad, though. She noticed the lock of white hair with a sense of sadness.

Why do i feel so shy all of a sudden? Something about his gaze made heat flush her face and her smooth voice sound small. His compliments also forced the blush to become even redder. It pleased her to hear them.

"It may sound strange... But I wanted to find out how you were. Owls can be searched. We could have been found out."
He could tell her concern was real. She was truly concerned for the person whom she had started to trust as a friend and laughed with over lunch and tea while at work.

"I know it probably isn't easy. Hardly any magic, forced to become a muggle... What they did to you was wrong."

It was hard a life filled with magic but he was a Malfoy not one to lay down and die no matter what wrongs had come to them. He could tell she was not lying you get used to recognizing the truth when you lie so much. His eyes narrowed a bit like tunnel vision it made it hard to focus. “I have been better the mugle world is so bothersome“ people treated him like no one.

Her hair perfectly framed her face before in school she like himself had been a bit awkward for some reason in the ministry he had not noticed. “but I have grown to accept my position in society potter cant be in power for ever“.

People would turn on him as they had those before him a honest man can never make it in politics especially not the wizarding world. He took her hand in his it was cold unlike himself she had not grown accustomed to it. “You should not have come being seen with a death eater could ruin you’re reputation“.

Not that being seen with a potter crony would be best for himself people bad people may start thinking he was all soft. “I hear potter has been checking up on you if it gets much worse he is going to see death eaters in his closest“ he said with a laugh rubbing her hand with his. The warmth was returning to her delicate hands he could feel them returning to life.

OOC: I'll get a post up soon I promise. I've been busy lately! -hugs-

Cho, somehow, found herself laughing. The idea of Harry being so paranoid was funny to her. It seemed the truth however. Often times Harry saw plots brewing. Sometimes he was right. Other times he wasn't. When it came to the dark arts, Potter had a no non-sense attitude. She didn't support them either, but to her, not every stranger was out to cause havoc.

A thrill went through her to have him holding her hands. She tried to focus on what he was saying, but her heart was beating so loudly, and so furiously, it was hard to hear him. She worried he could have heard it.

"I shouldn't have come," she said with a slightly crooked smile. "That's true. But you aren't a Death Eater anymore. And you never will be again. You're a bit different from when we were in school. Still very opinionated, though." She teased and winked.

Part of her wanted to tell him that somehow, maybe together, they could find a way to restore his name name and show the Ministry he could come back. But she didn't know how in the world they could do that. So she kept her mouth shut on the topic.

"We should probably say goodbye soon. So that no one sees us. But it would be nice to see you again. Just when I was making a new friend. We could meet at a Muggle shop." She suggested just as her fingers lightly squeezed his.

He had almost given up on coming back to the wizardly world at least for a while until potter was knocked down a few pegs. He had also treated himself as an exile even though he was not officially banished. He held onto he hand for a little while longer then let her hand drop to her side.

“That would be nice I don’t think I have talk with anyone magical that I did not have to pay for there company“. on other fronts he had not spent much company with anyone as he hated mugles. “see you in a week there is a book shop that sells mugle magic books meet me in incantations“

Muggles who thought they could do magic he liked to string them along he even had a few covens. It was a little evil and used manly so he would not run through his families wealth all in one go.

He also had relatives who were not pure bloods but also not former death eaters fighting him for every gold coin. He leaned in closer and stole a kiss on the cheek before turning to leave. In the distance he could see the fay light of just a late night walker or one of the night watch harries personal ant death eater police.

Cho watched Draco walk away, her lips parted with surprise. She put a hand to her cheek to cover the spot where his lips had pressed to her skin. Her cheek burned as if he had branded her with his touch. She smiled and turned, in an instant vanishing from the spot as she apparated.

She appeared on the door step of the small home she rented. The tiny cottage was rustic and homey, just perfect for one person. She was happy to be on her own, even if her mother had wanted to her stay living with the family for a little while longer. Independance suited her.

She readied for bed, her thoughts still on Draco. A brushed passed through her long, midnight hair as she wondered what it would be like to be cut off from friends and family. She knew it would be hard for her. She was very social and didn't like being alone for very long. When she slipped between the bedsheets, a smile was on her face as sleep claimed her.

Draco spent most of the day getting muggles to give them there money which after the first five minutes lost its charm. He then spent the rest of the day buying new cloths to impress cho which he told himself was to get back at potter. He then bought found a simple charm necklace. It was something his father had given his own mother when they were dating.

At first he thought it was in bad taste re-gifting then again it had originally been meant for potters mother. If ever one person held the locket the corresponding charm would warm up. It was a way of staying close when even hundreds of miles away the charm had weakened a great deal. He stuffed it into his pocket not even bothering t wrap or box it something that was to much effort.

He had thought of her now and then when he was not miserable at living in the muggle world it was like a single ray of light. He pushed through the door ignoring the muggle sales girl. The section was empty most were in charms looking for love charms or curses for ex lovers. The humans did not know magic, but each time the door rang he looked over the divider had cho charmed him.

At Hogwarts, Cho had been a popular girl, always surrounded by a gaggle of giggling girls. There had been friends to impress and reasons to keep her appearance impeccable. Though she had never lost the habit of keeping herself presentable. She prided herself on always looking neat and tidy.

The day had come for her to meet Draco at the book store he had told her about. So she would blend in among the other Muggles, she chose to wear a pair of tan slacks and a green sweater with lighter green stripes. She styled her long black hair into a neat braid on the back of her head and dabbed her face with tasteful touches of makeup.

She was excited to see him and wondered what they would do. She'd had Muggle friends at school, but never experienced their world for herself. All she knew was what she had learned in her Muggle Studies class. It was a good start and she considered this a chance to learn more and to help her with work at the Ministry.

She found the store and stood outside it for a moment before stepping inside. She couldn't wait to see Draco, but she was still confused by her feelings. However it didn't make sense to her to deny them while she had a chance to explore what could possibly happen.

he placed his hand in his pocket only it was not empty as it should have been it had a small envelope. his eyes locked on Cho he could read the letter latter it must not be important. "Hi Cho glad you could make it" his arms wrapped around her. she felt good in his arms and smelled even better he could not get over it easily.

"Thanks for coming" he had a smile for her something that many people did not see on his face very often,. He pulled back for a moment running his hands sliding over his legs it was good to want to see someone. The letter fell out of his pocket he die not even notice so intent on Cho.

He had been popular in his own right but all of the abandoned him or were in jail he was tired of fair weather friends. “So Cho what do you want to do” he asked her as they walked out of the store.

She wrapped her arms around him, holding the hug for a little longer than she would have with any other friend. He was smiling, a rarity she thought he should make a habit. His eyes didn't seem so cold, nor did his expression. His usual sneer was much less attractive.

"Hmm," She responded to his question to where they should go. "I s'pose they don't have a Quidditch shop around here do they?" She was joking playfully, but hoped he wouldn't think of it as a slight against the fact he was exiled.

"Oh! Draco, you dropped something," She said as he had begun to pull her from the store.

He picked up the letter stuffing it into his pocket "Yes i think its something from the wizard world not from you i guess" he kissed her on the forhead the small joke caught him of guard. his exile had been hard on him Muggle sports was not to his taste at all, nothing but brute force.

"what have you been up to, I hear potter and Ginny are engaged" he asked her wanting more to know about cho. he knew so little of the wizard world he did not read from the papers. and for the time being all the papers where on potters side.

She smiled. "I haven't sent you a letter, no. Just trying to be careful."

Surprised by the kiss to her forehead, her eyes widened for a split second. Finding Draco so affectionate had not been expected. But it was not unwelcome for her. It felt nice to be cared for and she hadn't dated for a while.

They walked along the street now talking together. "You must still be talking to someone if you heard that. But I suppose that kind of news would spread quickly."

She looked around her to see if there were any shops that caught her eye. She had promised to get her friend Krystal something today because she collected Muggle objects. She saw a shop devoted to tea, one for jewlrey and another for clothes. There was also a small bakery emitting delicious smells. The sweet aromas made her stomach grumble.

"Mmm. I could use some lunch. Shall we eat? You should surprise me with where we go." Cho flashed him a grin.
