Since the planned Litogethers didn't go so well.... And, I admit, I am one of the guilty people that did something else instead.... I figured we should start all over as there seems to be some newbie Marylanders around. No need to plan a Litogether. Just reintroduce yourself, and see what happens. Maybe you will choose to meet someone, and share your stories here... or, for the sake of discretion, maybe not.

So, about me... I'm married, 33yo, 6'1", 255 pounds. Brown hair (shaved) and blue eyes. I live in Baltimore and work in DC. Looking to make some new friends in the area.

Tried the Litogethers too...Went to one and was the only one there
Now I am in a relationship and staying away from the internet (too damn busy)
Anyways 23 Dundalk work for Baltimore City schools
Looking for friends

Goldram: I may make it to the car show we will see, that is my weekend for the steelers/ browns game :-D GO BROWNS!!!
 
Yep, the Litogether concept just seems to be too much trouble for the people organizing when no one will really commit. I think Lit works better if people just meet here, then decide for themselves whether or not to meet each other in person. As a group, it's just not worth it.

i miss all my maryland people...where is everyone!!!???

been busy with school and what not but i am around hope everyone has a great holiday season

and computer is good- now i need a car

anyone know of any good used cars or good deals let me know i am looking asap

i have a pontiac now and would like a newer used pontiac (i am in love with the G6's) but lemme know and NO grand ams or FORDS dont make me puke

i had a honda and wouldnt mind another one but they are expensive, so stick with the pontiac or toyota i guess...let me know and when i go i may need a man to stick it to the dealer for me ;-)

Yep, busy busy busy now that the holidays are here. And, weekend traffic sucks now that the shopping surge is on.

As for a car, check out the Dodge Caliber... Not only is it a cool little car, but gets great gas mileage, too! However, you probably won't find many used ones yet. I love mine!

Like I said, I was one of the guilty ones... an opportunity presented itself and I changed my plans at the last minute. One thing I noticed is that a lot of people liked the idea, but didn't really want to bother with going into DC (which was part of my decision making). Next time, my suggestion is to try Silver Spring or somewhere similar along the metro line. No matter what, thanks for being persistent in trying to put it together TWICE!

not twice, three times.
also, silver spring/u street/dupont...it's only convenient if you live along that metro line so it's not really about what is most convenient it is about what is in the middle. some people who RSVPd lived on different lines so we just picked u street because it's fun and there are a lot of places to go. we wanted people from NoVa to be able to go. silver spring is a schlep to anyone who doesnt live directly near silver spring....which is, again, why we picked the city. If we had said silver spring, people would have still bailed and people from Nova would have bitched because it's in maryland and not virginia.
