Before the video played – one of Petty Officer 2nd Class Laura Endicott surprising her daughter at a Veterans Day celebration – the warning appeared across the screen in bold black and white. For such a patriotic video, this warning seems to be just about as unpatriotic as they come.
A CNN spokesman told the The Daily Caller that the warning was put there by an employee who wrongfully interpreted a CNN policy that only allows “The Star-Spangled Banner” to be played in its entirety, out of respect. The warning was placed before the video to advise viewers it only contained part of the song.
The warning has since been removed, but the video remains on the CNN website.

The Anthem isn't about the founding of the nation, wasn't even the Anthem for over 150 years and has nothing to do with George III.
