Viva La Man Thread: A Call to Solidarity

Much has been made of the fact that it is a difficult thing to have a man thread here. Ladies are discriminating in their taste, qhich they should be, and many times some threads don't take off the way they might if given a second, or third, glance. What I have learned is that it should not be taboo for me to look at another man's thread to see what he is doing right, that perhaps I need to work on. Posters like QSco, Unbound, Mornin, Dalton, and others are apparently doing "something" right...just looking at their post counts. So why shouldn't I strive to be my best? I think it's poor customer service actually. A man should be able to peruse a thread AND COMMENT without fear of any stigma being attached to him. Most of this probably comes from within anyway, cause let's face it...this IS a sex site.

So men, get out there. Support one another. The women of Lit have long had to deal with ass-ish behavior from us. The least we can do is provide quality threads and conversations to engage them in a proper way. This is not a call to look the same. I'll never look like those male posters with chiseled feature that make women drool, but I have my own ways of appealing to their baser natures...and I'm quite sure you do too. Variety is the spice of life, men. It's high time we spice Lit up in the best, and worst , of ways.

To arms! Oh..and check out the cool badge that Tali made just for this occasion!

Great idea, but a few days late for me. I just had my two remaining pic threads deleted. It is hard for some of us to maintain a pic thread.

As for me, I am staying on Lit and will do my pic posting on the B&W thread, the Hands thread, the Men in Jeans thread, and the Lit Coffee Shop.

I like the badge. May I suggest making it a link to this thread. The code needed is:

which produces this clickable badge:

Here here! I'm all for some spiciness. :D

Well said.

I have commented on other ladies thread, in appreciation of their beauty, their creativity, and their bravery for posting.

One reason for the success of the threads you mentioned is that these gentlemen interact with their admirers and acknowledge comments in a thoughtful, playful ways.

I can appreciate it is hard for you gentleman to begin a thread and maintain it. I wish I had more time to get around to all of them. I will make more of an effort and yes support each other!

I adore you gentleman. The men of Lit are wonderful. You are all sexy as hell.

Since you have highlighted this, I will ask: What characteristics makes a male photo spicy?

Speaking from experience, no matter how much spiciness a woman may ask for, never involve a habanero if you plan on getting nude. Ever.

Unless she is..well...nevermind.

I can see this as being a real issue. I think my personality would lend itself to starting a thread, but there are already lots of great threads out there and only so much attention to go around.
