It's the season for swapping canned venison. I give pickles because I'm too damned lazy to go shot a deer.

The grown-ups are donating wells in Africa and the grandbabies each now sponsor a child (and the bubs get a small gift too......lego and meccano because both girls love building things!)
As a kind of compensation for not getting physical gifts, I am putting on Christmas lunch for everyone. It will be nice to have all the fam together on the same day for a change!
Immediately after New Year, my youngest turns 21.
He's being sent out for the day abseiling, and when he gets back the downstairs garage will have been turned into his own private gym (he's big on bodybuilding and goes to the gym every day....... this way he can save the membership because he's halfway to having the deposit on his first home and was complaining about some of his expenses holding him back.)
