Right now, they have taken a back seat. And when the old ones fade. New political ones come to replace them, so they tend to always be in the sunshine. I just find it interesting that folks want to talk politics so much on a porn site. Sex ... politics ... sex ... politics ... tough choice there! :D

I'm worn out from it. I was just trying to help you understand the current dynamics, and be as neutral as I could be in explaining it, given I do have a horse in the race, but you seem to have a handle on it. :rose:

I got a handle on it Miss Honey, but I'm not getting into it. I was just making some observations about what I've seen so far and what it's all about. I might not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but I'm no box of hammers either. I just try to use my head about things before I go jumping in the pool and find it's full of pirannha. I do believe Scouries started this thread as a joke, a way to poke fun at all of the nonsense going on here, a way to prove how silly all of the other banning and moving is all about.

People, if you don't like something, don't read it. We are all writers here and can write whatever you feel like. It doesn't mean it's true. It doesn't mean it's really the way you feel about subjects. Some writers are better than others and know how to push people buttons. Look at what Scouries did with the silly subject of picking on advatars.

But, you all must understand that Big Brother is watching. By separating politics out of here, it just makes it easier for Big Brother to zero in on trouble makers. It is illegal to overturn your government. There is software out there to pick up on certain words and phrases.

I'm going to pull my curtains now and shut down my PC. If there's no link, they will never find me here. ;)

I still like my advatar and I like Scouries, too.

Actually, I have a question about AV's and sigs. How do I get one under my name and how do I get to remove 'virgin' and post something a little more appropirate and fitting? Being called Virgin in a room full of horny man-eating women just makes me a little nervous, lmao

Can only answer the second one. With more posts, the "virgin" will disappear and be replaced with something else. (I haven't paid much attention to what, though.)

I can't remember the posting requirements for avatars and custom status, offhand. It's somewhere in the labyrinth of the FAQ.

Seems like avatar was 100 posts, but don't quote me on that one.

After 100 posts you can upload an AV and after 1,000 posts you can change the tag to something else - it's all done through the "User CP" link at the top left of your page (well, it's at the top left with the skin I'm using).

CARTOON AVATARS: Some people hate them and some people love em! You see a lot of them over in GBland but also here. I like CrimsonMaidens (a strong 3) – it’s a big improvement over the Dale Jr. one she used to have. I guess she got tired of his fifteenth place finishes. Her new one is friendly and welcoming.

SaintPeter from GBland also has a great one. Fits his posting to a tee - he gets a 4.
