Triolet

Dance for me my pretty, swirl around the fire
drugged by smoke with thoughts disconnected,
unseeing those who watch and willingly admire.
Dance for me my pretty, swirl around the fire
stirring into flames the futures hot desire,
until my pocket's gold leaves you unprotected.
Dance for me my pretty, swirl around the fire,
drugged by smoke with thoughts disconnected.

A New Type Of Fire

Tim was warming himself by the old campfire
before he heard Sharon moaning in the tent
which made him peek and see a new type of fire.

When he saw her moving in rapid movement
her fingers on that pussy, Tim got naked
and allowed Sharon to look in amazement.

And after he sucked her clit on the one bed
of a blanket and air mattress, Sharon had
turned Tim over to ride on his stiff cock's head.

Then, after cum shot out of them, Tim was glad
that the camping trip truly was not so bad.

Can't wait for you to host a challenge :) but this time, too slow.
:spurt:

Countdown

Quiet, still, outside and in,
mind drifting as wind,
through the static branches of pear,
as timid leafings dip toes in to the season.

There's a fire laid and repairs made
ahead of the week's rain and chill.
Gutters a-ok. Combustion.

To wet to weed the strawberries
but not for fishing,
too many months off to consider,
so many years full of grace,
down where the creek meets the river,
where summer campfires light the night.

Ol' Grub will like the fire.
I see it there in his puppy eyes,
wild, burning, love.

I like my porn as much as anyone generally,

Here's a challenge for YOU.....make some poetry here on this thread thats not porny .....

Show us what you got

fire-flowers blossom in outrageous shades
of purple, blue, and yellow-warping-orange

embers glow and logs speak in dry tongue
star-sparks spit through smoke-cloud
try to reach their whiter, distant namesakes

man, dog, beer
one toasts his boots
the second his bones
the third sweats moisture
on its slender brown neck

Well that's the first time I've seen a porn sonnet but such a pity when you can write you insist on just being the forum troll who makes out all he can write are dirty ditties. I know you've been trolling this forum for years now,(albeit in different names) why don't you give it up and come and write properly with us? What's the big attraction in trolling, hoping you can pull one over on us and then laugh up your sleeve?

Campfire Musings

Across the horizon of the Salish sea
The wind drifts lazily in the evergreens
Sol sinks in his dramatic blaze of color
Faint laughter among the boughs
In tune with the songs of night
There by the timeless campsite
The bluegray cedar aromas fill the air
As the tiny campfire comes to life
Grows slowly into the night
Surrounded by friends and family
Sharing warmth with hearts afire
In an eternal twilight by the sea

I was there with you for a moment, another time another place, one of which was captured in Road Trips, another thread you started. I don't know if you caught it that a lot of the themes seem to get woven into later poems.

Clever that.

Campfire Porn

Still of night, smell of smoke,
Missus getting busy in the tent,
Mr. by the fire in moccasins and cloak,
naked under, feeding the roaring fire,
awaiting mews from the rude shelter
and his curtain call.

I hear what you are saying. The magic of poetry, eh? This has been a great challenge series. I'm glad to do these with you all.

Btw, Cascadia started the Road Trips thread, All good stuff.

I agree ~ continuity and challenges. thank you Harry for starting this. :rose:
and here is my offering for this challenge

A Year of Fire

Winter solstice flames dance on the beach
Bundled against the cold and dark
Staring into the flames
Ritually burning slips of paper
releasing demons, fears and hurts
breathing easier as they curl away in smoke
the winter tide lapping the shore
on this longest of nights, the stars so bright

Spring break, cold and wet still
Got a bit of cabin fever
Letā€™s run out to the coast
Dig for clams at sunrise
Have a bonfire at night
Pass the whiskey as the sparks fly
And the spring surf pounds the shore

Paddle out into the Salish sea
For a fortnight of days and nights
Moving camp day after day
Finding the rhythm of the tides
Water, rocks, trees, sky
Breathing the free ions
Daylight stretching so long
It feels like sunset may never come
Glowing embers of the campfire
Sweet pleasure after cooking
Dutch oven offerings of corn bread
and freshly caught rock fish

Alder and maple leaves are changing
Frost on salal at night
The air crisp in my lungs
as the moon rises over rainier
An old Hudson Bay blanket wrapped ā€˜round my shoulders
a long evening by the fire
The excuse ā€“ letā€™s have a wienie roast
the sausages perfectly charred, pops between my teeth
accompanied by pear cider
My feet warm against the fire ring
reluctant to leave
adding another log
and another
the glowing embers
linking us to our ancestors

fire fixated eyes
prehistoric memories
unconsciously rise

Aboriginal Dream time

Beyond the leaping tongues of
rainbow serpents shedding sparks,
we feel the shadows, never close,,
never seeking the glow, but watching,
Dream time spiritual ancestors
from the beginning of time.

That opening line is a gem!!!

Looks as though Annie takes us to the next installment. Congrats Annie!

prepare the tinder
collect a pile of kindling
split a few logs

strike flint and steel
catch the spark
glowing on the char clothe
igniting tinder in my hands
blowing it into flame
tucking it under fine twigs
until it catches

warming our hands
lighting your face
the glow wraps us together
stew bubbles in the dutch oven

share a meal with me
share a story with me
share a kiss with me

revel in campfire magic
