Yeah, it's pretty shitty history. Col. Lee, oath-breaking traitor, deserted his U.S. Army post and turned insurgent warlord. The kind of guy ex-Gen. Kelly admires? Does the USMC now embrace traitors? Be sure to leave Kelly's statue out for the pigeons.

West Point has Lee Barracks,Lee Hall,Lee Gate,Lee Road..the Robert E. Lee Award for mathematics excellence and a number of Lee's portraits on the walls.
