Not in SEQ but up in Townsville FNQ!! Long time reader but only just joined the community
 
Have sent you a quick PM, but more than happy to chat here. How long are you planning to be in Cairns? and will you have a chance to do some sight seeing a little further afield?
 
you will really enjoy the Barron falls at he moment, there should be lots of water flowing over them, and also try and visit "Rusty's Bazaar"
 
"Rusty's Bazaar" is a markets that is held on one of the beaches north of Cairns, when you get there all the locals will be able to point you in the right direction.
 
Will look forward to hearing how much you enjoyed the Cairns area when you get back. and I can tell you lots of places to check out if you think you might go travelling further afield later on.
 
Have to admit that I have not had the experience of a threesome of either sort. That being said, I would be open to trying it out.
