The idea of tattoos on a beautiful woman bugs me. It's like vandalism.

For example, say by some weird twist of fate, I was able to own the Mona Lisa, one of the most recognized pieces of art in history. I hang it up in my living room & with a calligraphy pen, draw my initials in the corner inside a small heart. I do a nice job & it has some filigree in the design.

Everyone that comes over to see it would be horrified that I drew on it. It doesn't matter that it's small and in the corner. It doesn't matter that I did a fantastic job with the lettering. Everyone would say I was the fucking idiot that defaced the Mona Lisa.
 
I like nice tats, but for me I look at them a lot like makeup and perfume...less is more. For me there are many very attractive women on this thread whose natural beauty has been lost or diminished in the noise of overwhelming tattoos. Just my opinion. If you want to ink up, go for it. Just for me personally, I enjoy them more as accent pieces. I'll be quiet now.
