Snip!

Take a line (or two) from a famous poem and add your own ending.

If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
You'll make the perfect troll on Facebook
none may accuse you of having the common touch.
.
.
.
To be or not to be
that's procrastination.
.
.
.
I thought that I should never see
a sight so lovely as a man on his knees.

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
First bright of temperate countenance
but come the noon, quite o'ercast of mood;
as three bells chimes, so humid, rank with sweat
and cheeks so angry, thunderheads afret upon your brow...

so that'd be a no then?

I don't know what place's summer that is, but it's probably not somewhere I want to spend beach vacations.

*smiles*

we've a saying over here in britland, that refers (maybe a little unkindly, lol) to our summers: "3 hot days and a thunderstorm"

In Xanadu did Kubla Khan
A stately pleasure dome decree

They dug a hole
The whole was wrong
A hole that should not be

O Romeo, Romeo; wherefore art thou Romeo?

You've precisely twenty seconds to stop messing about with this hiding nonsense or no icecream for desert

I grow old... I grow old...
I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled

I shall go paddling in the sea
I feel quite young when you're with me

Because I could not stop for death
He kindly stopped for me
We took a train ride, homeward-bound
Ate fish and chips for tea

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

I took the red road not the blue
And time warped and bent about
And others came to speak of you,
Of how I missed your hopes and desires,
To cast the red truth in shades of doubt.
