Where is Destiny, and why do dates live there?

Pearl Harbor is a very important date in US and World History. Why it is important seems to be being forgotten by many of the younger generations.

It seems the freeway of life has bypassed "infamy" and moved on to Terrorism and 9/11 as the big event in their lives. December Seventh, 1941 may still live in infamy, but it is fast becoming remembered as well as the USS Main or the Alamo. i.e. not at all.
