Currently named, well because when we got the kitten, my son named her Jumpy Mcscratchy, then Jumpy Mcscratchy Fartypants, then Jingle Bell, and finally, her current name, Tuna.

So hopefully my ghetto urban upbringing and my corporate job didn't fool you, but I very much enjoy the simple redneck life. I don't need fancy cars, flashy jewelry etc. I do wish redneck life came with more kinky parties and possibly some key parties though lol.

Thank you. I suspect my urban upbringing was likely a lot more ghetto. I don't think anyone says I like the projects lol. Actually the corporate job isn't bad. I had jobs that were a lot more fun, but a lot less money, so I am a number. Lol. It is worth the commute though.

First, awesome and fun.

Second, so sorry. However, I am not surprised. Aren't they usually all rich manly handsome heroes and strikingly beautiful naive submissive women lol. I think editors are probably used to the easy common fantasy. Heck, what is that joke about the Christian Grey character, if he wasn't a handsome billionaire, they wouldn't have made it into a romance movie but instead they would have made it into an episode of Criminal Minds. I think you just have to find the right one. One who deals a little off the easily marketable lowest common denominator path. Good luck.

The so awful and at the same time does not surprise me. The European book and publishing scene is all aces (have friends in Germany who are published and respected authors that I have gotten to hang out with and tour with).

My wife read half the first 50 Shades book and said it was far more unrealistic than the incest stories on Lit! To me it's unfathomable to be considered a Dominant when you're you do NOT stop when your submissive tells you no, tells you to stop! At the very least, that's sexual assault!

Yes, LCD is the reason so many inane novels are published by Harlequin, etc.


On the bright side: Today's meeting extended the life-long streak of being with an Italian mother or grandmother, sexual or business or friendly, where she (or in this case ALL) brought something to eat! :D

In August, I'll be going to the small Adirondack town of Lake Placid and having the opportunity to meet up with several independent authors in a serene and placid setting to talk "shop" over great pastries and trash mainstream fiction over awesome small town bakery food!

Lol. Honestly, I haven't read any of the books or watched any of the movies. Yet another reason my female membership card should probably be revoked lol.

And well, older Italian women do supply food for everything... someone dies, food...someone stubs a toe, food...neighbors grand daughter's first period, um food.

Lit erotica

You have to do a great deal of trolling to find some believable fiction in Lit stories. A series I have read and enjoyed is by Busy Badger, and is called "A new way of seeing things" it is written from the female perspective, and is in the top list of the exhibition and voyeur section.

I shared the chicken pictures with my wife, who spent the first 14 years of her life with chickens! She loved them, mostly because she doesn't need to clean up the shit any longer :kiss:

My mother was the granddaughter of 4 immigrants who came from what's now Poland - 2 from the Russian Empire, 2 from the Austro-Hungarian Empire. With that said, we, too, had food for EVERYTHING and ANYTHING. Even at my mother's memorial service, my sister and I brought food and non-alcoholic drinks to celebrate her life. Yeah, we tailgated! Not a single person who was there for other services complained, well, one did, but he thought we'd at least have ONE beer LOL

well good. honestly so far hubby and kid deal with the mess haha. but they are the ones who wanted them. I was against it. but so far none have bit my ass yet
