Hey, Joe

Hey now! Sheriff Joe was never convicted of murder.

But, he does burn puppies in his watch!

His office was responsible for countless fiascos like this botched SWAT raid, where deputies set a puppy on fire.

I don't understand how staging an assassination doesn't warrant jail time. Though, I see it says his staff rigged it.

Right?!?! How about trying destroying evidence?

He also tried to destroy some of the hard drives containing material that was supposed to be turned over the court.

Dude...if you had cared to even look into my past...I'm American Indian. Why don't YOU get the fuck out of MY country.

Damn, you are such an idiot.

Fala...it's a Choctaw name. Doh.

Yeah, your profile has a treasure trove of information about your "past." He'd probably be just as impressed looking into Elizabeth Warren's American Indian past.

I'm not even going to look at that...I'm tired...riding out a hurricane here, yano.

Of course not, it shrinks Trump's singular pardoning of a patriotic American, singled out by the Obama DOJ for a malicious prosecution, into political insignificance.

DNA doesn't lie. BTW, how much does Ish pay you to step in and do battle for him?

It's kinda pathetic, yanno.

I have never changed my name or created alts here as you have. I've been FALA since my inception here. I remain true.

I have always, also, held true to the notion that people who have to leave and come back as somebody else is rather.....

...well

...cowardly.

Ya think?

Your issues are not my concern. Thanks anyway.

I don't feel that strongly, partly because my wife, whom I love dearly, was an illegal alien. She came from the Philippines on a tourist visa, overstayed and got a job to support herself and her offspring. She did this because she wanted a better life for herself and her family. Later, she married an American, who died, and a few years later, she married me. I have other extended family members who took a similar route and are now contributing to the betterment of this country.

I can sympathize with people like them but, what I don't like are people who come to the USA or move from one place to another to collect welfare or similar motivation. As far as I am concerned, such people are parasites.

Either we are a nation of laws or we are not. Either we, as a sovereign nation, have the right to control our borders and decide who may cross them or we don't.

Your story is repeated a thousand times over but that doesn't excuse anyone entering this nation illegally.

"Why did you rob that bank?"

"I just wanted a better life."

I fully realize that entering the country illegally does not rise to the same level as bank robbery, but I think you get the point. 99% of the natural born citizens of this nation "just want a better life." And I would hazard a guess that a great many of those remaining 1 percenter's want a better life too. Not in the form of material goods or money, but the desire to fill some void that they perceive to be in their lives. Bottom line is that the whole world wants a better life but does that excuse illegal activity?

And that goes to the heart of what we as a nation have to decide. If you don't like the law as written, change it. But ignoring it is NOT an option. If you can ignore one law, why not another? Ignore enough of them and what's the point of having any law at all?

This may help. It's an overview from Pew of presidential pardons.

Obama pardoned more people since Truman essentially. Of course the overwhelming vast majority of them were for over the top sentencing for drug offenses under draconian laws. That is the reality. It's been well reported, well studied and not hidden in any way shape or form.

**** Edit to add... I made a mistake. Not pardons, granted clemency.

Indeed, Obama’s presidency is noteworthy for its sharp divergence between commutations and pardons. He commuted more sentences than any president on record. But he granted fewer pardons than all but two presidents for whom DOJ has statistics: George W. Bush, who issued 189, and George H.W. Bush, who issued 74 (but served only four years in office, compared with Obama’s eight).

In his record use of commutations, Obama reduced sentences for federal inmates who were convicted in all 50 states, according to our analysis. Among those who received reduced penalties were 568 individuals serving life sentences and two who had been sentenced to death.

He would like to conflate the 2000 relatively banal clemencies that Obama granted with that of 45 pardoning Arpaio.

But of course his belief is fed by the reality that it irritates the liberals. Those liberal tears they so cherish. It's a mark of great character indeed.

Look stupid, my point was there's no way to look into your past based on your profile. So you suggesting that was all one had to do was to look into your past when there is no way to know who you are to is a bit disingenuous and a waste of air.

PS: Your suggestion about "DNA" is just as useful as the rest of your bullshit.

I suppose that is another tiresome backhanded suggestion that I'm a former member reincarnated into my present persona. The real cowardice is you making a suggestion you know I cannot disprove without revealing my true identity and personal information, which I'd be willing to do just as soon as everyone else here does the exact same thing.

They were sentenced according to the law. Obama didn't like the law and thought he knew better than "lawmakers" what sentences should be for those in his base, so he pardoned them to make a political statement. Some of those pardoned by Obama have killed again or have committed new crimes.

I have a feeling you're nothing more than a phony liberal who has no real convictions, other than pure hate.

Now please post specific examples that prove he's a racist by definition. You won't, because you can't. You're implying that all illegals are minorities. What would you call that?

Instead you'll either go into full Adrina mode and attack Ishmael again or me for daring to challenge your ignorant accusation, deflect by answering my question with another question, change the subject, or most likely pretend you were never asked to prove what you said.

You said something stupid. Now put up or shut your pie hole.

Shut the fuck up, miles. You're not smart enough.

Got any links, vetteman?

Do tell.

And, pssst, Arpio was sentence according to the law.

Citations please.

Under a program launched in 2014 known as the Clemency Initiative, the Justice Department encouraged “qualified federal inmates” – as defined by DOJ criteria – to apply to have their prison sentences commuted.

Joe was sentenced according to the law. Ironically what you are accusing Obama of is exactly what Trump did.

Trump felt Arpaio was convicted for "doing his job". His exact words.

Do you ever freakin' look in the mirror??

Don't call me "stupid". My point was....why couldn't he have googled Fala.

....and why couldn't you?

So I was right.

I am still Fala....since day one....and proud of that fact.

Have a nice day...erm....whoever you are. :)
