As a Cat lover we have 6 I'm wishing you good thoughts and hope it is not the case. We have many wooden boxes on a shelf with our precious babies, and we have loved them all equally. They have all brought such great joy.

Happy Hump Day my sweet wonderful friends.
Update on my Assie.
We went to the Vet.
Aussie had a mild stroke. But he is in no pain, still eating and drinking and going to his litter.
Still very shaky on his legs. But the vet told us he would that would improve in a few days. So he is still with us, for how long don't know. He might get an other stroke.... or slowly fading away. Soon as we see his is in pain, can't eat, drink, go to the litter, we will let him sleep in. But the vet told us that for nowhe is not in pain, and that we should enjoy the time that we have left with him.
He is my buddy for 16 years... my real American, born in NJ on the 4th of July.
So fingers crossed I will have him for a little time more, he is such a big part of our family.

Thats great news
I found my Reba 15 years ago this past July. She was a tiny kitten in the middle of the street. When I picked her up she began purring loudly. She appeared to be starving.
When I brought her in the house and set her down she immediately spied a bowl of dry cat food. She ran to it and did a belly flop.
My wife insisted that we already had enough cats, but that night she took the little one to bed. In the morning I was awakened because the little one had diarrhea. I jumped up and started to remove the sheet. No, no, my wife said, she is sleeping.
So Reba is still with us and often sleeps on me in the afternoon and many nights. She does leave me to help my wife put on her makeup.
I am aware that our time together is limited.
