Sounds nice - early season sun is so lovely, even if it burns a little, it's like we emerge all pink and new from the winter...
I have to say, though, it actually snowed here loads on Friday, a veritable blizzard. There's always something to do to occupy oneself in those circumstances, though, don't you think?

I started thinking about this after reading
this lovely perceptive and tender post of Simon's about his woman's emotionally exhausted return after a period apart. "Husband and wife sex for real", he says, and it inspired me to think further about the variety of sex there can be in a long-term monogamous relationship.

I'm not sure we deliberately mix it up, but variety is good in a long relationship, I reckon. And I suppose sometimes a fuck falls into multiple categories, or has to be in one because of, say, time constraints. For example, yesterday morning we'd both evidently woken up mindful of the fact that we each had piles of work to get through, but that we'd be out having dinner with friends last night, and probably consequentially tired today
