Hi, Guys.
Sorry I haven't been around much lately.
My mom had a biopsy on one of her breasts and they have found a possible malignancy.
She is all I've got and I am all she's got so we have to take care of each other.
I know she will be okay, it's in it's early stages, but I am not dealing with it too well.
Please excuse me if I don't post for a while, okay?

Just remember NOT to always think of the worst outcome and
1) the diagnosis is not confirmed
2) even of the diagnosis is bad may be very treatable
3) Many, many women survive breast cancer and live for many years

Hi Saf, we dont know each other cos I dont think I have ever posted on your thread before, but I read what you wrote and felt I had to respond.
Firstly, in the space of three months, I've lost both of my parents, my mother as recently as Tuesday. But I've also had similar experiences (mammary biopsy) with both of my sisters. One was a malignant and the other was benign.
All I can say is this (and it feels totally inadequate). Whatever the result of the biopsy, there are friends and people around you who care. Use them, they want to help, they want to support you and they want to contribute.
That being said, you are in my thoughts and (in my own way) in my prayers for a safe and happy outcome. If I can possibly be of any assistance in any way at all, let me know.Sometimes it is better to let off steam at someone than it is to keep it all bottled up.... please feel free to smile and be happy, blow your stack, or cry on my shoulder, whichever you need at the time.

Anyway, she's going to have her surgery soon and I'm sure she will be okay.
I have missed posting here so much I can't begin to tell you. As my dear friend Riddler said, this is addictive and it has become a big part of my life.
So, I have decided to continue with my life, go back to "normal".
Not that I consider what I do here "normal", but you know what I mean
I dedicate this next photo series to all my good friends here who stuck with me, emailed me, sent me pm's and were so patient.
