The prostitutes pay Bill his cut -- which is what ever they can afford, but usually around 25% -- by ordering a drink called "The Commissioner" and slipping their money to him, wrapped inside a one dollar bill. "The Commissioner" isn't a real drink; Bill simply gives the prostitute their "regular" drink, be it soda pop, wine, liquor, beer, or what ever. It's called "The Commissioner" to commemorate the head of the Vice Squad, who for years tried to pin charges on "The Hideout's" previous owner for promoting prostitution; and only after finally getting the man was himself disgraced for soliciting sex from one of his own undercover Vice officers and fired. Hey all, are we having fun yet?

We've got some good story lines going, and some more adventures coming up.

I've got another character I would like to introduce, but he's going to need a very special pair of female whores to collaborate with. He is Peter, the brother of one of our whores. And when he learns that his sister is a hooker, he is torn between being appalled and wanting to partake of her. (The other whore is the one that the sister sends him to for "release", hoping it will hold the little bugger off. It doesn't.)

I don't write very "hard" -- porn-like -- but it depends mostly on my character(s). You'll just have to read my stuff. I've never written male-male scenes, not that I can't or won't; but I have written female roles when necessary. I've written light bondage, but I am not a BDSM expert, so if I write such a scene, it will seem amateurish.

Just wanted to say Hi to everyone and to catch you up on some stuff:

1. For a story update, we now have 3 Companion Threads active: Jake and Jessica, Nick and Miko, and Pamela and Erin ... sorry, I mixed and matched some real and working names there, but I'll let you sort them out ... keep you on your toes.

I really like the Companion Threads. They make writing and reading so much easier.


2. We have these 6 active characters plus a couple of more who are waiting for opportunities -- such as David, who has a date with Jessica "tomorrow", Thursday night and Bill the Bartender who is hoping to get a piece of Miko some night soon -- and a few other names that have been dropped but are not active characters, such as Hugh and Nate; both are male whores, although Nate is the only one with a profile.


3. Don't forget to update your profiles occasionally with any information you feel is appropriate for other writers to remember for future posts and collaboration. I try to update my profiles every time I post something of value; it's a lot easier than going back and searching for a little factoid later.


4. I seem to have lost a Post somewhere. Does anyone remember reading anything about David having dinner with his mother and father...? I thought I posted it but can't find it with a search anywhere; and I can't find it on my phone or computer. I'm so pissed!


5. I have another character -- I think I told y'all this -- who learns that his sister is one of the whores and is torn between being appalled ... and wanting to bang her. I want to involve a second whore, maybe someone she sends him to in an attempt to slake his desires, and I would like one writer to write both roles. I don't want to use existing characters; I'm looking for new characters, because our current characters are all involved in collaborations right now. Please, don't take on more characters than you can handle; I have done that on other RP sites and found myself not only overwhelmed but holding up the story for other writers as well.

I wondered when this would come up...

One of our writers PM'd me, asking whether we should be mentioning protection, from disease and/or pregnancy. We are, of course, writing about people who fuck and suck -- excuse my bluntness -- more random people than your average sexually-active person.

As with most erotic fiction, I thought we could skirt around the issue. That is not, of course, an acceptance of doing so in real life ... but then, this isn't real life, is it?

However, here is an exception to the rule ... two exceptions, actually:

First, if your characters want the topic in their reply for some reason, go for it.

And second, somewhere down the road -- a month or two game time -- we might have an unplanned pregnancy bring a little drama into the story. That could be fun!

Anyway, if you have any input on this topic, please PM me -- don't reply in the OOC please -- and I will do two things: respond to the questions and comments, and -- if the writer wishes -- add those questions, comments, and responses to this post, so they are all organized in one place.

As I have stated before, I would prefer that writers don't post questions, comments, concerns, observations, etc, in the OOC because I am attempting to keep it lean and mean; I'm a bit anal about organization, as you can tell from the first post of the OOC, with all of its links to the information within it.

However, if you have something that you feel is valuable to the other writers, please PM it to me and I will post it, if applicable. REMEMBER: Any writer at anytime can PM his/her fellow writers, so it's not like we can't talk to one another. It's just that the OOC is not the place for chit chat.

hey all.

We have another male writer interested in joining. He will likely play a math teacher who gets into a conversation with Jake about sex ... and Jake just happens to know a couple of hookers!

Because all of the whores are currently engaged (on "Wednesday", the current story day), I was thinking that he and Jake could actually begin their conversation on, let's say, "Friday". We would write it in a Companion Thread and when the RP catches up, we would post the CT in the IC Thread and the space-time continuum is restored. (Sorry, had to throw in a Star Trek reference.)

Anyway, if any of you gals are interested in Pre-writing a CT, let me know, and I will put you in contact with him. ("Jessica", don't forget, you have a date Thursday night with David.)

And update on our RP's story line and "calendar":

Obviously, the story is about a High School Whore House ... and obviously, we don't have one yet ... and obviously, they don't spring up over night. It takes time to put things like this together in the "real world" ... but, as I noted in a previous OOC posting, this isn't the real world.

What the hell is he rambling about? you're asking.

Currently, the man who starts the actual whore house -- Jake -- is having sex with the woman -- Jessica -- who's money-making ventures will lead to the idea in the first place. It is Wednesday night in the game; I'm thinking that the pair of them will begin to consider and act on the idea over the weekend, and by the following weekend, will begin to put it all together.

In the meantime, what about everyone else? Well, we have prostitutes working and customers getting laid, and isn't that what life is all about anyway, everyone being happy?

So, here's my thought, and if you would like to add your input, please PM me and I will reformulate the "schedule" as is appropriate and update y'all.

1. Jake and Jessica finish having sex.

2. Everyone else does the same.

3. Jake and Jessica will have their discussion about her job and Jake's desire for more excitement in his life. The thought of organizing some of the whores will come up.

4. It will take them several game days to bring people together, days during which I would prefer that characters not get too heavily involved in more business. Why?

5. Here's why: the time-space continuum. (Don't you just love the Star Trek references?? Ironically, I've never been in a Star Trek RP.)

6. We need all writers to be available to write about their character's involvements with Jake and Jessica concerning organizing, and if we are all tied up on sexual collaborations, that won't happen.

7. So, my thought it this: could everyone spend the next few days -- real days -- having their fun with their partners and wrapping up their scenes; and as those scenes -- most of which are in Companion Threads -- conclude, Jake and Jessica will begin to approach people with their new idea.

Sound feasible?

John has black hair with light brown highlights that he normally wears in a "just rolled out of bed" fashion. His eyes are a warm amber color which becomes a bright gold when light catches inside his irises. He has an angular jaw, a slight cleft chin, and a straight nose. He keeps himself mostly clean-shaven but wishes to grow a goatee when his facial hair thickens, and he is often seen with a stubbly ghost of a goatee.

John prides himself on his physique. All throughout middle school and into high school John would wake up before dawn to aid his father in his carpentry for a few hours before school, which helped form the base of his physique. John now keeps himself in top shape by doing a series of body-weight exercises and martial-arts training that he learned from Tasia.

John has two distinctive scars, one on his arm he suffered from an attack by a stray dog when he was nine, and one on his right cheek from when his father threw one of his wrenches at him.

John is of Irish (mother) and Italian (father) descent.


Student Information (continued):

When given the choice (his agent often doesn't), John would rather take a role in a live performance versus a role on camera.

He enjoys participating in school productions but the majority of his time is taken up by roles in independent films by well-respected directors and by T.V. commercial spots.

John's father attempts to be supportive of John when he is sober, but frequently abuses John mentally or physically when he comes home roaring drunk. After an episode, his father will often apologize to John with tears in his eyes, and call himself worthless. John, having no other family and not willing to sever ties to the only family he has, puts up with his father's abuse.

After John discovered that his father had drained the relatively substantial sum John had made over his years of acting to fuel the gambling and drinking binges, John began to think that he was to blame for enabling his father's vices.

John now keeps his money himself, hoping to land a few more roles to generate enough income to get his own apartment and pay for college. He hopes that when he is gone his father will come to his senses and restart his career.

Sexual History/Experience (Extended):

John and Tasia (childhood companions) dated publicly for four years. During that time John was kept extremely busy with school commitments and his acting career, while Tasia participated in sports and martial arts tournaments. Their schedules left little time for any intimate relations, and more often than not their relationship was little more than an excuse to deflect any would-be suitors.

As such, they only engaged in intercourse on three occasions, with a smattering of other sexual encounters interspersed in-between.

Up until now, John has suppressed his sexual desires for the most part, never having much time alone with Tasia to really explore his sexuality. Whenever he had a weekend, a day, or even an hour away from his commitments, Tasia was almost always unable to get the same period of time off. I prefer passionate and amorous relations of the mostly-vanilla variety, but I will try my hand at nearly anything.

Hi everyone. Just an update and a pat on the back, two pats actually.

First the update: the companion thread between Pamela and Erin ("Abbey") has come to a close. If you haven't been following it as it was posted, waiting for the entire thread -- either of which are good ways to follow C.T.s, -- now's the time to get in some reading. (I would put the link here, but I'm on my phone, which has limited capabilities.)

The first pat on the back goes to Erin's writer for rolling so well with Pamela's posts. I literally had no idea where I was going to take Pamela, making up the finish of the CT with a moments thought. "Abbey" meanwhile was written as a professional, and I'm very pleased with how "Ty" wrote her. (Hope you don't mind the nickname. )

Second pats (plural) got to the writers of Nick and Miko ("Ty" again) for their own CT, which is getting HOT !! I was going to wait for it to be finished, but once I started reading it, I couldn't stop. Keep it up.

FYI, Jake and Jessica's CT is nearly done; I bet we finish tonight. Once it is done, they will return to the IC Thread and the discussion of organizing the whores will begin. Woohoo!!

another topic:. Have you female writers considered taking the roll of Jake's supervisor? The general plot there is that Jake is going to try to get her into a compromising position with another student, to force her out. It would likely be a one-time Companion Thread involving Jake, thr male high school student -- John, I think? -- and the female Counselor. Of course, the character could reenter the RP later but that's up to you. Anyway, I'm going to put the "job" out to the SRP forum if no one wants it.

Someone asked, and here's the answer: is it okay to begin posting for the day following Jake and Jessica's night together, despite the fact that that Companion Thread is not closed?

Absolutely. The day after that night will be Thursday. Things to know:

1. Jake has an early morning meeting with John, who was introduced this morning in the IC.

2. Jessica has a date with Daniel tonight.

3. Although the whore house and rampant prostitution has not been discussed in the CT, it will have been by "Thursday" morning, but it will not be known to any one but J and J yet, so don't write about it. Hopefully the J and J CT will be completed tonight.

Surprisingly little is known about Mr W's sexual history. It is known that he is married, but sitings of his wife are rare and disputed. The truth is that his sexual preferences would likely get him fired, arrested and possibly lynched at a PTA meeting, for he is a sexual sadist with a taste for teenagers. His reputation as a harsh teacher stems from the satisfaction he gets watching his students squirm, though his fantasies have always been darker. His wife is hideously repressed and deeply religious, and their marriage is largely based on mutual sexual disinterest.

Mr W teaches history and government. He has a reputation as an incredibly critical grader and a very strict teacher, and is not very well liked by most of the student body. I can't quite say I've never met a fetish I didn't like, but I'm a pretty open-minded sadist/top/PYL. I'm also a fan of old-fashioned sucking and fucking, but I have to get in the mood to really enjoy it. I tend to write with the assumption that we're all adults and it's all fantasy, so there's no real harm to be done. I have a favor to ask, a few actually:

1. If you are online and available to collaborate with other writers, will you please turn your invisible status off. If you don't know what invisible is, then you're probably not using it, so don't sweat it. The reason is simple: if a writer with whom you are collaborating on a scene knows you are available to write, then they will have a tendency of posting more, which moves the story along. But if they don't think you're on line, they can't trade replies with you.

2. Will every one update their profiles as time goes on. If you add something to your character's background -- a dead parent, a story about lost virginity, a favorite fantasy, what ever -- that you think is important for others to remember, add it to your profile. If it's a long story, you can put a link to the post you wrote about it in in your profile instead. This also helps you keep track of what you have said as well. (A good example: I said Jake was in the service, but I had to go back and search for how long I said he was in. It would have been faster if I had added it to my profile.)

3. If you have quoted prices for sexual acts in your posts, these need to be in your profile as well. Some of our whores are blowing men for $50, some are charging $200; I'm not going to tell you how much you should charge for your services, but we all need to remember what we have quoted and compare to other characters, just for a sense of consistency, if not actual consistency.

Some of you know this, some of you don't. I was asked, so I am going to explain the way I do it.

The easy way to use a pic already on the web is:

1. Right click on it.
2. Select "Copy link location".
3. Go to the post you are making and use the "Insert Link" button above (the one that looks like a link of a chain in front of the image of the Earth.
4. Easy.

Now, here's the draw back to using an image on the web that doesn't belong to you personally: if the manager of the page you got it from EVER does ANYTHING to cause the link address to be changed -- even one letter or number -- you lose your pic. Gone, kaput, finished, adios amigo; AND EVEN WORSE, every time you've EVER used it in a post ... that spot is left empty.

So, this is what I do:

1. I right click on the pic.
2. I select "Save Image", and I save it to my computer.
3. I then go to a photo sharing site -- I use Photobucket, but there are lots of them out there -- and upload the pic to it.

I really don't know how to describe my "style", or even if I have one, other than to say I'm really not into the "One Sentence Post" thing. I'd rather write in fully detailed paragraphs, even if it means only one post every few days, instead of twenty one-liners in an evening.

As for my Do's and Don'ts, pretty much everything except hardcore violence/mutilations and scat is fair game. My biggest turn-ons (aside from what was previously mentioned) are giving oral sex (you could say I have a bit of a fixation ~LOL~) and group sex. I loooooove writing scenes with couples and other multiple partner scenarios.

Sorry I am behind on introducing the "time jump" to the creation of the whore house; I have been at odds with myself about whether I was doing it the right way.

I wasn't, but here's the right way:

1. We're going to pretend that Jessica approached all of the "known whores", male and female, sometime after she gave their names to Jake; she talked to Jake Thursday morning, so she would have contacted you all between then and the end of the weekend. We are going to pretend that everyone she contacted knows of the plan by Monday morning, for reasons you will see in a moment.

2. We will pretend that:

>>> Jessica told them she did not "out" them to Jake, which of course she did (in the case of Erin Sawyer, Karilina McIntosh, Jin Shou, and Nate Briggs.) If you are writing a whore other than these -- with the exception of John, who isn't one yet but is on his way -- you need to make a decision as to whether Jessica knew of you; if she did, she contacted you, but if she didn't, she didn't so you won't be in the first "wave" to join the whore house ... but we will work something out, won't we? (It is not necessary to already have a post posted that establishes Jessica's knowledge of you as a whore; we will presume it was known already.)

>>> Jessica did not tell them of Jake, only that she knew someone -- "not a pimp" -- who was willing to help them secure a safer, more profitable future.

>>> Jessica did not tell them about the whore house building, for security reasons. (Last thing we want is a renegade telling on us, right?)

3. Each of you writers must make the decision: would your character join the whore house, or want to know more about it; or would he/she not want to be part of it. You do not have to join now; your character can continue to be a freelancer, working on the streets or out of bars or what ever. Maybe sometime in the near future, he/she will change his/her mind.

4. Once you have decided what your character will do, contact me via PM. I will start a Companion Thread for the first discussion between Jake and the whore. (If you feel your character would only come if Jessica escorted him/her, that can be part of the CT ... just remember that we are not all in the same time zones, and the more writers involved in a CT, the longer it takes to complete.)

5. Each of your CTs will take place on one of the school days during "next week", the week following the start of the RP, so next "Monday" through "Friday". Most characters will meet with Jake once, but some might feel they need more time to decide and meet with him, or with Jessica, multiple times. It all depends on how you feel your character would react. (Oh, and FYI ... Jake is in this for the sex; don't be surprised if he tries to "interview" you ; and if he does, remember, we the writers know all we read, but they the characters only know what they gossip to one another about.)

6. Then, over the "weekend", all of the characters who are joining the whore house will get together to begin preparing it for customers.

7. At the same time that the CTs are taking place, we can also be writing in the IC thread, in case there are ongoing issues that need to be written.

Just a reminder -- which your characters will not know yet, of course -- the whore house is being set up in the building that Jake is turning into an Adult Tutoring Center. (Assuming you have been following the IC and CTs, you already know this.)

Any questions whatsoever about the above information, please please please PM me. We have several writers, some writing more than one character, so if we get things wrong due to a miscommunication, or we don't post because we don't understand something and are afraid to ask, then this process grinds to a halt ... and that's the pitfall of a group thread ... one character holding back the story for all the others. So, please,never ever hesitate to ask me a question; I will never answer with, "duh! whatcha think was happening??" Not that kind of guy.

Oh, does anyone want to play one of the college age girls that live across from Jake? Tyyrlym had a great idea, and I'm a little embarrassed that I didn't see the need for it earlier: a thread dedicated to Player OOC discussion about the RP. As you all know, I asked writers in the very beginning not to post to the OOC Thread, except for Character Profiles, to keep it easy to organize. And while PMs work well for two writers discussing their personal characters, what do the writers do if, for example, they have a new character concept, or are lost about a possible plot suggestion...?

So, I have created the Discussion Thread. I won't tell you what to write and not write in there; it's in the introduction, so check it out. I have also added a link to it in the first page of both the IC Thread and the OOC thread.
