Good afternoon to you, Apocalypse! I miss being here as often as I used to be. But I do hae to pay for pesky things like internet connections and tech toys (I'm talking Macs, PCs, not the other toys --- though come to think of it, they come with price tags too!)

Oh - and now that I have a new addiction, I have to feed that as well. So I can't visit as often as before. It's nice to be missed - even nicer to be welcomed back.

Ha ha! I leave the "cowgirling" to my cousins. Sigh - just realized the double meaning, so I'll explain that I was speaking literally, as in barrel racing, raising livestock, etc. I'm more of a city gal. Though when I dust my boots off, I can tear up a dance floor.

Yes indeed there are two toys there (not counting the clothes pegs). Ha ha - trust me, any pics I had taken wouldn't begin to capture the whole story. Besides, I stick by my belief that leaving some to the imagination is more fun than revealing all. That way you can imagine what memories and fantasies were being brought to life and my reaction as I listened.

I don't mind the fun parts of real-life getting a strong grip on me (ha ha - sounds naughtier than I intended, but it stays. Rawr!), but right now it's the busy mundane stuff. Puts a kink in (damn, I'm on a roll - my subconscious must be working overtime) the whole means/ motivation/ opportunity for naughty fun.

First the easy question - no. I have not introduced anyone to Lit.

As for your cheeky question about a visual connection (like the way you phrased that, btw)-

It's funny - when I first joined Lit - I was bombarded with chat and cam requests. Of course - my posts then were far more arousing, if I remember correctly. It was all so new and overwhelming. And it was more anonymous.

Now I temper my posts more than I did then. I also am more reluctant to engage in more personal interaction - for many reasons.

Anyway, back on topic: Yes - Mal and I share a visual connection when we talk. Though it doesn't always lead to the outcome you saw on Monday.

And it certainly didn't start with "Hey Baby, you're hot - wanna cam?" While I can appreciate the fact that some men and women are here for exactly that reason, and so that approach can be successful - it doesn't work for me. I didn't come to lit looking for a chat / cam partner, or role playing, mutual masturbation - so that wasn't even on my radar. Hell, at the time, I didn't even know about those options!

Anyway, his communication style was distinct. He was (IS!) very good at reading my comfort level and desires (existing or new) and the occasional (frequent?) conflict between the two. So after many nights of IMing, many many phone conversations, and several visits where I could see him (I had tried my cam with one program, it didn't work) - it got to the point where it felt odd NOT to have him see me when we communicated. I video chat with friends & colleagues all the time in a different program - so one night, I surprised the bejeebers out of him by sending him the invitation/ instructions so that we could video conference. THAT was a fun night. And since then we have used the cam to share many moments, laughs, and so much more. It almost erases the 1,600 miles between us.

That being said - the video connection is less about the video and more about connecting. For me anyway, I can't speak for him . It's about reactions - the twinkle in his eye, a raised eyebrow, a smile, a look of concern or joy as I share my latest news - and best of all, the way his eyes light up when he sees me. And yes - there are other reactions that I love as well

I still receive invitations to chat and cam - but without a mental and emotional connection, they don't hold any appeal to me at this point.

Hmmmm - maybe now I know why you didn't want to ask questions. I can ramble on, can't I? I'm curious - what does this explain?

Far from being bored by your answers, one of the things that makes me return to your posts repeatedly is the thoughtful honesty in what you write as well as the fun photos you post. There is also the danger of stepping over the line in my curiosity which could lead to offence ,there is also the chance of our cultural differences, that is, me living on the other side of the Pond
