I signed up for a beginner's golf class.
Ever since college, I've wanted to take golf, snow skiing and scuba diving. They were all offered as phys ed electives. But I was in a dance group (ballet, jazz, modern) so I always took dance classes. Later, I was too wrapped up in upper level class work and never made time for the fun stuff.
I have a habit of choosing "obligation and shoulds" over "desire and wants". I'm working to change that habit, hence the golf class.
Emotions are very unpredictable lol

No, I was just reacting to the fact that eHarmony refused to let me participate because I checked my status as "separated" rather than divorced. Unless I'm mistaken, they don't actually check or verify marital status. So, I could have created an account with different information and listed "single". That's why I pointed out that I would find only truly single and available men on eHarmony. Or lying cheaters. At least the people who participate on Ashley Madison aren't deceiving anyone.
And you may not realize this, since you're in Scotland, but... Ashley Madison is fairy well known here. It has been featured on talk shows, CNN and even had a Superbowl commercial.
Ridiculously ironic in a country that is trying to legislate the "sacred union of marriage" no?
I generally avoid politically charged conversations like the plague. But while I'm on a soap box, .. Kelsey Grammer can end a 15 yr. marriage by phone; Larry King is on divorce #9; Britney Spears had a 55 hr. marriage; Jesse James & Tiger Woods, while married, were having sex with EVERYONE; 53% of Americans get divorced and 30-60% cheat on their spouses. Yet, same-sex marriage is going to destroy the institution of marriage? Seriously?
(While those may be my sentiments, they are not my words - I came across it on the internet. I'm glad someone else put it together though, saved me some effort. )
